    • A rotor assembly comprises an annular sleeve (30) having an inner member (34) connected around a shaft (20) to rotate together therewith and an outer member (36) with a first end connected to the inner member (34). The outer member (36) defines an annular continuous frustoconical inner surface (46). A rotor disc (50) includes an annular protuberance (60) having an annular continuous frustoconical outer surface (64) complementary to the inner surface (46) of the outer member (36) and in torque-transmitting engagement therewith. The assembly includes means (70) for axially pressing the sleeve (30) and the disc (50) against one another to maintain the complementary frustoconical surfaces in torque-transmitting engagement.

    • A method of fabricating an inlet assembly for a gas turbine engine includes defining an intake duct of the inlet assembly between first and second spaced apart inlet case portions (28,26) and locating at least one strut (30) across the intake duct. Each strut (30) has a proximal end (36) made integral to the first inlet case portion (28) and an opposed distal end (38) engaged in a respective strut-receiving aperture (40) defined through the second inlet case portion (28). While maintaining the distal end (38) of each strut (30) in the respective strut-receiving aperture (40), the relative position of the first inlet case portion (28) and the second inlet case portion (26) is adjusted until a predetermined throat dimension (44) of the intake duct is obtained. The adjusted relative position is locked by attaching the second inlet case portion (26) to each strut (30). An inlet assembly and gas turbine engine with inlet assembly are also disclosed.
