摘要： Disclosed is a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing 10-60 parts by weight of a non-crosslinkable crystalline polyolefin resin (A), 1-30 parts by weight of a specific propylene 1-butene random copolymer (B) and 89-10 parts by weight of an ethylene α-olefin non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber (C) which is composed of ethylene, an α-olefin having 3-20 carbon atoms and a non-conjugated polyene, in such amounts that the total of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 parts by weight. The thermoplastic elastomer composition is dynamically crosslinked by an extruder. This thermoplastic elastomer is excellent in moldability and economic efficiency, and enables to obtain a molded body exhibiting sufficient adhesion strength to a vulcanized rubber or themoplastic elastomer without the intermediation of an adhesive layer, as well as a lightweight molded body having sufficient hardness and rubber elasticity.

The viscosity modifier of a lubricating oil for a power transmission system according to the present invention comprises an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (B) having the properties: (B1) an ethylene content in the range of 70 to 85% by mol, (B2) an intrinsic viscosity [η] in the range of 0.2 to 1.0 dl/g, (B3) Mw/Mn not more than 2.4, and (B4) a melting point, as measured by DSC, not higher than 60°C, or no melting point observed.

摘要： A novel olefin-based polymer has excellent thermal resistance, as well as excellent balance among various properties. The olefin-based polymer is an olefin-based polymer comprising 50 to 100% by weight of a constituent unit derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene, and 0 to 50% by weight of a constituent unit derived from at least one olefin selected from olefins having 2 to 20 carbon atoms except 4-methyl-1-pentene, and having the following properties: i) the diad isotacticity is 70% or greater, ii) the ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) to the number average molecular weight (Mn) as measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is in the range of 1.0 to 3.5, and iii) the intrinsic viscosity [η] is 0.5 (dl/g) or greater.

摘要： The present invention relates to an ethylene-based copolymer useful as a modifier for resins, e.g., polypropylene, and an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer composition containing the same ethylene-based copolymer.
The ethylene-based copolymer [I] of the present invention is characterized by:

(a-1) having temperature (T m ) at the maximum peak in the endothermic curve, measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), of 40 to 90°C,
(a-2) containing the component soluble in decane at normal temperature at 1 to 70% by weight, and
(a-3) containing the component soluble in decane at normal temperature which comprises (i) a recurring unit derived from ethylene and (ii) a recurring unit derived from an α-olefin of 4 or more carbon atoms, and
in which a content of (i) the recurring unit derived from ethylene is 50 to 75% by mole. The ethylene-based copolymer composition [II] of the present invention is characterized by containing the ethylene-based copolymer which satisfies the following conditions (b-1) to (b-3):

(b-1) having temperature (T m ) at the maximum peak in the endothermic curve of the component soluble in decane at 64°C, measured by a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), of 40 to 90°C,
(b-2) containing the component soluble in decane at 64°C which contains the component soluble in decane at normal temperature at 1 to 70% by weight, and
(b-3) containing the component soluble in decane at normal temperature which comprises (i) a recurring unit derived from ethylene and (ii) a recurring unit derived from an α-olefin of 4 or more carbon atoms, and
in which a content of (i) the recurring unit derived from ethylene is 50 to 75% by mole.

An object of the present invention is to provide a viscosity modifier for lubricating oils and an additive composition for lubricating oils, for obtaining a lubricating oil composition excellent in storage stability under low temperature conditions as well as in viscosity characteristics at a low temperature.
[Solution to Problems]
The viscosity modifier for lubricating oils according to the present invention contains a resin (α), wherein the resin (α) satisfies specific requirements, and contains a grafted olefin polymer [R1] which is composed of a main chain and a side chain(s) and which satisfies the following requirements (i) and (ii). (i) The main chain is composed of a copolymer of ethylene and at least one α-olefin selected from α-olefins having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms, and contains the structural units derived from ethylene within the range of from 74 to 86 mol%. (ii) The side chain(s) is/are composed of a copolymer of ethylene and at least one α-olefin selected from α-olefins having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms, and contain(s) the structural units derived from ethylene within the range of from 30 to 65 mol%.

摘要： An adhesive resin composition contains at least a partially or wholly graft-modified α-olefin/aromatic vinyl compound random copolymer having a graft quantity of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative ranging from 0.01 to 30 % by weight. A laminate comprises (I) a polyester resin layer or a polycarbonate layer, (II) an adhesive layer formed from the above-mentioned adhesive resin composition and (III) a saponified olefin/vinyl acetate copolymer layer. The adhesive resin composition is free from lowering of adhesive strength even when contacted with, for example, hot water. The laminate has excellent gas barrier properties and is capable of being subjected to retorting treatment.
