摘要： An air conditioner comprises: a main body having an air outlet and having an opening formed at the front thereof; a front door installed to cover or expose the opening; a blower installed on the main body; a water container containing water, and disposed to let the water in and out through the opening; a water guide installed within the main body so as to contain the water flown from the water container; a humidifying filter mounted on the water guide so as to supply moisture to air flowing toward the blower; and a purification unit disposed to purify the air flowing toward the humidifying filter and let the water in and out through the opening. Humidi- fication and purification can be performed in one apparatus, and it is easy to attach and detach the water container and the purification unit since the water container and the purification unit can enter and exit through one opening after the front door is opened.

The present invention is advantageous in that it can realize a humidifying effect and a cooling effect at the same time, has the high utilization of space, and can control the humidity of the entire room rapidly and uniformly.
