    • There are provided oxide superconducting solenoid wound coils each including plural tape-shaped oxide superconducting wires electrically connected together in series and helically wound in multilayers around a cylindrical winding barrel of a spool, wherein the oxide superconducting wires are connected together by overlaying their wider surfaces one on top of the other within the multilayer winding area or wherein the oxide superconducting wires are connected together by arranging the oxide superconducting wires so that their ends are butted against each other and overlaying a wider surface of a tape-shaped connecting piece on wider surfaces of both the oxide superconducting wires within the multilayer winding area; with the use of such a structure, plural oxide superconducting wires can be connected together without causing an ineffective space between plural coils and without causing a deterioration of superconducting characteristics in a single coil.
