摘要： The present invention aims to produce a label which has a size, margins and a character arrangement as a user desired, and aims to reduce a wasteful consumption of tape.
In a tape printing device of the present invention, there is established an enlargement printing mode in which a large pseudo label, whose width is wider than the width of tape (T), can be obtained when the tape is divided into division portions in the longitudinal direction of the tape (T) and when the division portions are arranged in the direction of the width of the tape. When printing in this mode, the tape printing device prints not only a character string but a marker which indicates the dividing positions in the longitudinal direction of the tape, with the intention of improving the quality of the pseudo label.
Further, the tape printing device of the present invention has the function of automatically setting the length of the front and rear margins according to the width of the tape and the function of printing a square-array dot pattern on a wide region which is wider than the character string. Moreover, the tape printing device of the present invention has the function of feeding the tape, for example, between a print head (32) and a cutter (39), when instructing to stop printing the character string, without printing characters. Furthermore, the tape printing device of the present invention has the function of printing a character string even when accelerating and decelerating a tape feeding motor. Thus, desirable margins or the like can be realized and the reduction in wasteful consumption of the tape can be achieved by making use of theses functions.
Additionally, the tape printing device of the present invention has the function of inputting, taking in and printing (1/M)-scale reduced numeric characters, each of which has a size that is (1/M) the size of a full-size character. Thus, the variety of the manners of printing numeric characters can be increased.

摘要： A compact print making device by which a desired imprint figure can be made easily in a short time. This print making device employs a resin seal face member, a part of which receives light having a wavelength within a predetermined range and thus is put into a state different from the state of the remaining part thereof and is adapted to have an uneven face formed by being acted upon by a predetermined fluid. The resin seal face member and an original picture representing an imprint figure are placed in such a manner that the original picture is placed just in back of the resin seal face member. Imprint figure information representing the imprint figure shown in the original picture is taken in by an information reading mechanism. A negative film making unit is driven according to the imprint figure information so as to produce a negative film. Then, the produced negative film is carried to an irradiating position. Subsequently, a light irradiating unit irradiates the resin seal face member with light through the negative film. Thereby, the state of a part, which corresponds to the imprint figure, of the resin seal face member or the remaining part thereof is changed. Finally, an uneven face thereof serving as a seal is formed by acting a predetermined fluid upon this resin seal face member.

The tape end trimming apparatus comprises cutting means (24, 25) for trimming the corners of an end of a tape. 摘要： The present invention relates to a character printing apparatus in which an input character string is printed on a plurality of print mediums loaded in the apparatus and having a transversal dimension, on which limitation is imposed, and different longitudinal dimensions. 摘要： A method and apparatus for making consistent cuts partially through a laminated sheet such as an adhesive tape without requiring high precision control of the cutter cutting depth are provided. An adhesive tape (10) is placed on flexible member (23) with a backing paper side in contact with a flexible member (23), and the adhesive tape (10) is held immobile on the flexible member (23). A cutter (32) having a bevelled cutting edge is then pressed into the flexible member (23) with the leading edge of the cutting edge descending to a specific cutting depth, and the cutter (32) is moved relative to the adhesive tape (10) to cut only a base tape not a backing paper of the adhesive tape (10).

摘要： Described are a method and a device for separating a backing sheet from an adhesive sheet comprises a base sheet (11) whereon adhesive (11b) is applied to one surface and the backing sheet (12) laminated to the base sheet (11) by the adhesive 11b. Method and device can reliably and efficiently perform the operation of removing the backing sheet from adhesive sheet and can be automated with a simple structure. In the separation method the end of the adhesive sheet (10) is supported leaving a free end (10a), and separation means (8) is used to bend the free end (10a) in the front-to-back direction until slippage occurs between the adhesive (11b) and the backing sheet (12). While in this state the separation means (8) is withdrawn from the adhesive sheet (10) as it traces the end surface at the free end (10a).
