摘要： Systems and methods for managing control signaling overhead for a multi-carrier HSDP A (MC-HSDP A) may be disclosed. In particular, a plurality of downlink carriers may be received and bundled or paired. Configuration information indicative of the bundling may then be generated and transmitted. Additionally, one or more components such as antennas, user equipment (UE), and the like may receive an indication of a configuration or state via a high speed shared control channel (HS-SCCH) order where the indication includes order bits and order types and the configuration may be applied to activate and/or deactivate the components or operations such as uplink closed-loop transmit diversity (CLTD), uplink multiple-input multiple- output (MIMO). The order bits and/or order types may also be extended to support the activation/deactivation of additional carriers of MC-HSDP A.

摘要： Disclosed herein are methods and systems for uplink control feedback design in relation to the high speed dedicated physical control channel (HS-DPCCH). First uplink data may be transmitted on a HS-DPCCH to a first serving cell and a second serving cell, where the first serving cell may be used as a timing reference cell for the uplink transmission. The first serving cell may be associated with a first NodeB and the second serving cell may be associated with a second NodeB. First downlink data may be received from the first serving cell and second downlink data may be received from the second serving cell. A timing reference for uplink transmission may be changed such that the second serving cell may be used as the timing reference cell. Second uplink data may be transmitted on the HS-DPCCH using the second serving cell as the timing reference cell.

摘要： A method and apparatus for signaling for multi - antenna transmission with precoding are disclosed. Precoder phase information may be signaled using bit sequences that provide a degree of error tolerance in that precoder phases having large differences are signaled using bit sequences having large Hamming distances. A method comprising: receiving at a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) a precoding indicator signal representing a sequence of signaling bits corresponding to a desired precoder phase value; obtaining the desired precoder phase value by comparing the sequence of signaling bits to a plurality of predetermined sequences of signaling bits in which pairs of predetermined sequences of signaling are opposites of each other and which correspond to precoder phase values that differ by 180 degrees; and, applying a set of weighting values to a WTRU uplink signal stream transmitted over multiple antennas where the set of weighting values have a phase differential equal to the desired precoder phase value.

摘要： Systems and method for uplink feedback for multipoint transmission of high-speed downlink packet access (MP-HSDPA) that may improve downlink transmission efficiency and cell coverage. For example, Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) and/or Precoding Control Indicator (PCI) that may be calculated to accommodate the needs of coordinated dynamic network scheduling. Additionally, various frame structures may be generated for the uplink feedback that may carry multiple CQI and HARQ-ACK feedbacks from MP-HSDPA. The frame structures may also address asynchronous downlink transmissions between two cells. Moreover, HS- DPCCH power offset settings for both CQI and HARQ-ACK fields that may be modified and/or created to ensure reliable uplink feedback transmission.

For example, in embodiments, a partial-band Almost Blank Subframe (PB-ABS) subframe and/or a spatial Almost Blank Subframe (SABS) may be provided and/or used for coordinating communication with in networks with smaller and larger cells (e.g. pico or macro cells). For example, a PB-ABS may provide a dimension (e.g. frequency) that may be used to define a region and/or particular resources (e.g. resource blocks) reserved for pico cell operations or transmissions and a region or other resources (e.g. not those reserved for pico cell operations) available for macro cell operations or transmissions. Additionally, based on beam parameters (e.g. associated with cell partitioning), SABS may offer an additional dimension (e.g. spatial) that may be used to prevent transmission in a particular spatial direction.
