摘要： The present invention relates to a system for suppressing chatter in a machine tool, occurring in the ram (4) of the machine tool during machining, comprising a first drive configured for moving the ram (4) in the horizontal direction with respect to the axis (x), a second drive configured for moving the ram (4) in the vertical direction with respect to the axis (y), a first movement detection means configured for measuring vibration of the ram (4) in the horizontal direction of the axis (x), a second movement detection means configured for measuring vibration of the ram (4) in the vertical direction of the axis (y), and control means configured for commanding the first drive and generating a movement according to the vibration of the ram (4) in the horizontal direction of the axis (x), and configured for commanding the second drive and generating a movement according to the vibration of the ram (4) in the vertical direction of the axis (y).
