The rotating electric machine (1) is configured that, when the flow passage (21) is divided into a front half portion (22) closer to the flow inlet (19) and a latter half portion (23) closer to the flow outlet (20), the front half portion (22) becomes a portion where the first liquid coolant (101) mainly cools the second liquid coolant (100), and the latter half portion (23) becomes a portion where the first liquid coolant (101) mainly cools the gas coolant (102).

    • A permanent magnet type rotating electric machine is comprised of a rotor and a stator opposed to each other keeping a predetermined clearance therebetween. The rotor having a rotor core formed by silicon steel plates being laminated in an axial direction of the rotor core, slots being formed near an outer periphery of the rotor core in the rotor core so as to be open at the outer periphery of the rotor core, permanent magnets being inserted into the slots respectively, and a non-magnetic sleeve covering the outer periphery of the rotor core. Each of the slots has inclined side faces outwardly broadening the slot in a radial direction of the rotor core.
      Each of the permanent magnets is fixed into the slot with a force applied from the sleeve so as to directing toward a center of the rotor core and an pressure applied from the inclined side faces of the slot.

    • In a sealed type electric rotating machine, in which a cooling medium inflows from both end sides of a rotating shaft (1) of a claw-pole type rotor (2), a cooling medium having passed through a heat exchanging part (11) divides into one on an exhaust side (13A) and one on an intake air side (13B) to be used again for cooling of the claw-pole type rotor (2) and a stator (6). That is, on the exhaust side (13A), a cooling medium put in a state of being high in temperature as compared with that on the intake air side (13B) performs cooling, and the rotor and the stator are made higher in temperature on the exhaust side than on the intake air side. It is an object of the invention to level temperature profiles of the claw-pole type rotor (2) and the stator (6) in an axial direction to decrease maximum temperatures of the rotor and the stator.
      In order to attain the object, the invention has a feature in that a partition (23), which cuts off an axial duct (5), is provided toward the exhaust side relative to a center in the axial direction.

    • An object of this invention is to provide an electrical rotating machine that minimizes a decrease in output while improving demagnetization resistance of permanent magnets.
      In order to attain the above object, an electrical rotating machine includes: a shaft 6, a rotor 2 formed to rotate with rotation of the shaft 6, the rotor 2 being equipped with permanent magnets 3; a stator 1 disposed in opposed form on an outside-diametral side of the rotor 2 via a clearance with respect to the rotor 2; and anti-demagnetization conductors 7 extending in the axial direction of the shaft 6, the conductors 7 each being disposed inside the rotor 2; wherein: the anti-demagnetization conductors 7 are provided in pairs of two for each of magnetic poles of the rotor 2; the two anti-demagnetization conductors 7 to form a pair are electrically interconnected; and, inside the rotor 2, the two paired anti-demagnetization conductors 7 are disposed at different-polarity sides of two corresponding permanent magnets 3 in a circumferential direction of the rotor 2, the different-polarity sides each being more adjacent to the circumferential direction of the rotor 2 than to an end portion of one of the two corresponding permanent magnets 3 existing close to each other in one magnetic pole.
