      Solution to Problem
      In order to achieve the object described above, a rotating electric machine 1 of the present invention is made up of a stator 2 and a rotor 3 oppositely arranged through the intervention of predetermined air gap at the inner diameter side of the stator 2; the stator 2 has a stator iron core 4, a plurality of stator slots 12 that extend in the axial direction and are formed in the circumferential direction at predetermined intervals at the inner diameter side of the stator iron core 4, and stator coils attached in the plurality of stator slots 12; the rotor 3 has a rotor iron core 7, a plurality of rotor slots 6 that extend in the axial direction and are formed in the circumferential direction at predetermined intervals at the outer circumference side of the rotor iron core 7, and magnetic field members inserted in the rotor slots 6; and the rotor iron core 7 has an outside air ventilation hole 17a for ventilating air outside the machine and an inside air ventilation hole 16 for ventilating air inside the machine.

    • An object of this invention is to provide an electrical rotating machine that minimizes a decrease in output while improving demagnetization resistance of permanent magnets.
      In order to attain the above object, an electrical rotating machine includes: a shaft 6, a rotor 2 formed to rotate with rotation of the shaft 6, the rotor 2 being equipped with permanent magnets 3; a stator 1 disposed in opposed form on an outside-diametral side of the rotor 2 via a clearance with respect to the rotor 2; and anti-demagnetization conductors 7 extending in the axial direction of the shaft 6, the conductors 7 each being disposed inside the rotor 2; wherein: the anti-demagnetization conductors 7 are provided in pairs of two for each of magnetic poles of the rotor 2; the two anti-demagnetization conductors 7 to form a pair are electrically interconnected; and, inside the rotor 2, the two paired anti-demagnetization conductors 7 are disposed at different-polarity sides of two corresponding permanent magnets 3 in a circumferential direction of the rotor 2, the different-polarity sides each being more adjacent to the circumferential direction of the rotor 2 than to an end portion of one of the two corresponding permanent magnets 3 existing close to each other in one magnetic pole.

    • A rotary electric machine which is smoothly operated with high efficiency by adequately controlling the cooling gas flow as needed to keep the highest temperature inside the rotary electric machine below a predetermined limit, includes a stator with armature windings wound around a stator core, a rotor placed inside the stator in a rotatable manner, and a cooling device for controlling cooling gas flow. The rotary electric machine further includes a device for measuring an ambient temperature and a device for detecting armature voltage and/or armature current and/or field current. The temperature inside the rotary electric machine is calculated from the measured ambient temperature, detection value by the detecting device and an directive value of cooling gas flow. And a calculated suitable value of cooling gas flow is determined according to the calculated temperature inside the rotary electric machine.
