    • Embodiments of this application provide a wireless communications method and apparatus, and relate to the communications field, to reduce power consumption of monitoring a PDCCH by a terminal device in a carrier aggregation scenario. The method performed by a network device is: sending indication information on a first serving cell before on-duration period of a first DRX cycle, wherein the indication information comprises a bitmap including bits wherein each bit indicates not to monitor a PDCCH corresponding to at least one second serving cell or to monitor a PDCCH corresponding to at least one second serving cell; and performing third processing in the on duration period of the first DRX cycle if the indication information indicates not to monitor a PDCCH, wherein the third processing comprises at least one of the following:not sending a PDCCH on at least one second serving cell or not sending a PDCCH for the at least one second serving cell; or performing fourth processing in the on duration period of the first DRX cycle if the indication information indicates to monitor a PDCCH, wherein the fourth processing comprises at least one of the following: sending a PDCCH on the at least one second serving cell or sending a PDCCH for the at least one second serving cell. The embodiments of this application are applied to a process in which a terminal device monitors a PDCCH or does not monitor a PDCCH in a DRX cycle.

    • A communications method and apparatus are provided, so that a dual-card terminal device simultaneously performs a service by using two telephone cards. The method is applicable to the communications apparatus. The communications apparatus supports a SIM card 1 and a SIM card 2. The communications apparatus includes a first communications module SIM 1 and a second communications module SIM 2. The SIM 1 corresponds to the SIM card 1, and the SIM 2 corresponds to the SIM card 2. The method includes: when the SIM 1 is in a connected state, receiving a first paging notification message from a first mobility management entity through the SIM 1, where the first paging notification message includes an identifier of the SIM 2; and sending a service request of the SIM card 2 and the identifier of the SIM card 2 to the first mobility management entity, where home PLMNs of the SIM card 1 and the SIM card 2 are the same. In this way, a communications apparatus supporting two SIMs may be enabled to support the two SIMs in simultaneously transmitting and receiving data, which improves user experience.

    • This application discloses a communication method and a communications apparatus. In this method, a network device sends first information to a terminal, where the first information is used to indicate a first search space, a second search space, a first monitoring parameter, and a second monitoring parameter, the first monitoring parameter is a monitoring parameter for monitoring a PDCCH in the first search space, the second monitoring parameter is a monitoring parameter for monitoring a PDCCH in the second search space, and the first search space is different from the second search space, or the first search space is the same as the second search space but the first monitoring parameter is different from the second monitoring parameter. After sending the first information, the network device sends the PDCCH in the first search space based on the first monitoring parameter, and the terminal monitors the PDCCH in the first search space based on the first monitoring parameter; or the network device sends the PDCCH in the second search space based on the second monitoring parameter, and the terminal monitors the PDCCH in the second search space based on the second monitoring parameter.
