摘要： A high-pressure fuel supply pump which has no probability of discontinuity of a thin film of fuel at a sliding portion even when the fuel is not needed to be compressed to a high pressure is obtained. Two low-pressure fuel ports are provided on the high-pressure fuel supply pump in addition to a high-pressure discharge port to a high-pressure fuel capacity chamber. One of the two low-pressure fuel ports is connected to a low-pressure fuel capacity chamber and remaining one is connected to a low-pressure fuel supply pump. Accordingly, the interior of the high-pressure fuel supply pump is always filled with fresh fuel even in a mode in which a high-pressure fuel injecting valve does not inject fuel and only a low-pressure fuel injection valve injects fuel, so that a temperature rise of a plunger and a cylinder is prevented and locking of the plunger and the cylinder can be prevented.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to obtain a high pressure fuel supply pump capable of reducing pressure pulsation that occurs in a low pressure pipe, preventing damage to the low pressure pipe, or reducing noise due to vibrations of the low pressure pipe. The present invention provides a high pressure fuel supply pump of a type in which, from a fuel suction port connected to a low pressure pipe provided upstream of a fuel, a low pressure passage, an electromagnetic suction valve driven by an electromagnetic force, a pressurizing chamber in which the volume thereof is increased or reduced by a plunger that is reciprocatingly moved by being guided by a cylinder, and a discharge valve provided at an outlet of the pressurizing chamber are sequentially arranged, a fuel is sucked to the pressurizing chamber through the electromagnetic suction valve, the amount of a part of the fuel, which is sucked to the pressurizing chamber, to be returned to the low pressure passage side is adjusted so that the amount of the fuel to be discharged through the discharge valve is controlled, and the high pressure fuel supply pump includes a backflow suppression mechanism for suppressing backflow of fuel from the fuel from the fuel suction portion to the low pressure pipe side.

摘要： To increase a valve-opening pressure at which a pressure relief valve is opened in order to deal with a higher pressure of the fuel, a large pressure relief valve is installed in a high-pressure fuel supply pump. This upsizes the high-pressure fuel supply pump. A pressure relief valve is installed in a discharge joint. This can provide a high-pressure fuel supply pump that is not large too much and sufficiently performs a relief function by efficiently using the excessive space in the pump even when the fuel pressure is increased.

摘要： An electromagnetic valve configured to decay the cavitation occurring around a moving part of the electromagnetic valve and prevent the occurrence of erosion is provided. A configuration in which the cavitation bubbles generated around the moving part of the electromagnetic valve are captured and decayed and the occurrence of erosion is prevented is compatible with the low cost for the electromagnetic valve. The compatibility is achieved by the formation of a void large enough to capture the cavitation bubbles in the magnetic resistance increasing part.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to reduce erosion due to cavitation in proximity to a valve seat in a high-pressure fuel supply pump including a fuel flow passage having a bent portion in proximity to the valve seat, formed therein. The high-pressure fuel supply pump includes fuel passages 10S and 10P interconnecting with a pressurizing chamber of fuel in which volume varies due to reciprocating motion of a plunger to be in the reciprocation motion, and fluid valves 203 and 214S formed on the fuel passage. The fuel valves are included in a valve seat 214S and a valve member 203. The fuel passages include a gap passage portion 10S formed in a gap between the valve seat and the valve member, and a bent passage portion 10P extending in a bent direction on the downstream side of the gap passage portion. In a case where a backflow direction of the fuel is defined as a reference, in terms of a passage surface on the side of an inner circumference of a bent passage portion including the gap passage portion and the bent passage portion, a recess portion 214A is formed on an end portion on the upstream side of a passage surface 214D included in the side of the bent passage portion.

摘要： An object of the invention is to provide a high pressure fuel supply pump equipped with an electromagnetic suction valve which reduces collision noises caused by the electromagnetic suction valve, and obtains controllability on a desired amount of flow rate. The present invention is a high pressure fuel supply pump, including: an electromagnetic suction valve that adjusts an amount of fuel sucked into a pressuring chamber; a discharge valve that discharges the fuel from the pressuring chamber; and a plunger that is able to make a reciprocating motion in the pressuring chamber, wherein the electromagnetic suction valve includes an electromagnetic coil, a suction valve, and a movable portion that is able to be operated in a direction closing the suction valve by a magnetic attraction force when the electromagnetic coil is energized. The movable portion includes an anchor portion that is driven in a direction closing the suction valve by the magnetic attraction force and comes into conflict with a fixed member to stop moving, and a rod portion that is driven in conjunction with the anchor portion and is able to keep its moving even after the anchor portion stops moving, and wherein the electromagnetic suction valve includes a first spring that biases the suction valve in a direction to be closed, a second spring that biases the suction valve through the rod portion in a direction to be opened, and a third spring in the anchor portion that gives the rod portion a force pressing the rod portion.

摘要： Provided is a high-pressure fuel supply pump that maintains oil-tight performance even when the fuel pressure is high, and includes a small and lightweight discharge valve structure. The structure prevents the reduction in oil-tight performance caused by the deformation of the seat part due to the high back pressure that the discharge valve receives. The structure also makes the provision of a flow path compatible with the size reduction and weight reduction of the discharge valve. The valve body of the discharge valve includes a guide part and a curved contact surface. Thus, the seat part is formed with Hertzian contact and this formation exerts high oil-tightness even when a high back pressure is applied to the valve body. The guide part is provided to the valve body. This provision determines the position of the curved contact surface. This determination reduces the size and weight of the valve body.

摘要： In a conventional high-pressure fuel pump, the interference fit part between a plunger and a retainer comes loose with time due to environmental factors and this reduces the clearance between the retainer and a tappet more than necessity, resulting in increase in the contact face pressure between the plunger and a cylinder when a side force acts on the plunger, which causes seizure between the plunger and the cylinder. In this invention, a protrusion protruding toward the tappet is provided around the through-hole for press-fitting the plunger, the through-hole provided in the center portion of the retainer. Since the clearance between the retainer and the tappet can sufficiently be kept even if the joint between the retainer and the plunger comes loose, the seizure between the plunger and the cylinder and the breakage of the plunger are less likely to occur even if the side force acts on the retainer.
