摘要： A distribution of surface tidal current velocity vectors is estimated within a short period of time. A surface tidal current estimator 10 is configured including a deriving module 11 configured to derive wave-crest velocity vectors at a plurality of positions within a predetermined range of a water surface, each of the wave-crest velocity vectors being a velocity vector of a wave crest on the water surface, and correcting modules 16 and 23 configured to correct each of the wave-crest velocity vectors derived at the plurality of positions by the deriving module 11, based on one of the wave-crest velocity vector derived inside a predetermined area within the predetermined range by the deriving module 11 and an ocean-wave velocity vector in the predetermined area within the predetermined range, the ocean-wave velocity vector being a velocity vector of an ocean wave.

摘要： To easily grasp a relationship of parameter values which influence a log velocity of a ship, with the log velocity of the ship caused by the parameters, a ship characteristic estimating device (9b) is provided, which includes a data output unit (6) configured to output a plurality of parameter data (D 1 , D 2 , D 3 , ..., ) respectively including rotational speed data (R 1 ) of a propeller of a ship, and wind velocity vector data (V WD1 , V WD2 , V WD3 , ..., ) of wind force that may act on the ship, and an estimator (12) configured to receive the plurality of parameter data (D 1 , D 2 , D 3 , ...,) outputted from the data output unit (6), estimate values corresponding to the respective parameter data (D 1 , D 2 , D 3 , ..., ) to be log velocity vectors (V WT1 , V WT2 , V WT3 , ..., ) of the ship, and output them as first output values. The rotational speed data (R 1 ) are same as each other and the wind velocity vector data (V WD1 , V WD2 , V WD3 , ...,) are different from each other.
