摘要： An agricultural harvester includes a first power unit having a first rated output. The first power unit is couplable with a first primary load, including a threshing system load. A second power unit has a second rated output. The second power unit is couplable with a second primary load, including a propulsion load. A first motor/generator is mechanically coupled with the first power unit, and a second motor/generator is mechanically coupled with the second power unit. The second motor/generator is configured to electrically drive at least one external load. The second motor/generator and the first motor/generator are electrically coupled together.

The second vehicle (20) can move in a forward direction (34, reverse direction to the normal direction of travel, see figure 8 ) and a reverse direction (36). The at least one towed container (22, 24) includes a first towed container (22). The first towed container (22) is coupled to the second vehicle (20) such that the first towed container (22) follows the second vehicle (20) when the second vehicle (20) moves in the forward direction (34). A control system (30) is coupled to either the second vehicle (20) or the at least one towed container (22). The control system (30) coordinates the movement of the second vehicle (20) and the towed container (22) relative to the material discharge device (14) as the first vehicle (12) is moving and the second vehicle (20) is moving in the reverse direction (34).

摘要： A method and system (11) for boosting a torque output of a drive train comprises an engine speed detector (12) for detecting an engine speed of an engine (10) having a baseline torque versus engine speed curve. A data processor (14) determines if the detected engine speed is within a first range of engine speeds. If the detected engine speed is within the first range, the electric motor (24) is activated to rotate substantially synchronously with the engine speed within the first range in an electric propulsion mode in accordance with a supplemental torque versus engine speed curve. The supplemental torque versus engine speed curve intercepts the baseline torque versus engine speed curve at a lower engine speed point and a higher engine speed point.
