摘要： The present disclosure relates to a braking system and, more particularly, to a braking system for engaging a brake mechanism as a waiting brake for a load carrying vehicle. The braking system comprises first and second brake mechanisms. A controller is configured to control the operation of the second brake mechanism such that, if a predetermined fault condition is determined whilst the first brake mechanism is engaged, the controller automatically engages the second brake mechanism.

摘要： A hydraulic system for a vehicle in which the first and second brake valves are arranged in a parallel configuration. The pressure inlet of the first and second brake valves are connected to a source of hydraulic fluid and the exhaust outlets of the first and second brake valves are connected to the first and second brakes, respectively. 摘要： A braking system is provided. The braking system includes a brake, a first valve, a second valve and a valve actuation system. The brake is hydraulically actuated by a pressurized fluid. The first valve actuates the brake based on a user input. The second valve is configured to selectively actuate the brake. The valve actuation system includes a user input device moveable between a first position and a second position. A brake sensor provides a signal indicative of actuation of the first valve. The valve actuation system activates the second valve if the user input device is in the first position and the first valve is also engaged. The valve actuation system retains the second valve in active state even if the first valve is disengaged. The valve actuation system deactivates the second valve if the user input device is in the second position.
