    • To provide a technique preferable for ophthalmic image taking having an image taking optical system for imaging an image on an image sensing element at different imaging magnifications.
      The following are included:

      an image sensing element (17a) for converting the eye-to-be-examined fundus image (Er) into digital image data;
      an image taking optical system for imaging the eye-to-be-examined fundus image (Er) on the image sensing element (17a) at different image magnifications;
      fungus illumination means (5) for illuminating fungus at a light intensity interlocking with the imaging magnifications; and
      region selection means (33) for selecting a specific region (17c) including a fundus image from the image data in accordance with the imaging magnifications. Moreover, it is characterized to lower the light intensity of the fundus illumination means (5) by interlocking with reduction of the imaging magnifications and contract the specific region (17c) by interlocking with reduction of the imaging magnifications.

    • There is provided an ophthalmologic apparatus that prevents ghost light from generating. In the ophthalmologic apparatus, on an optical path commonly used for an eye fundus illumination optical system (1,3,5,6,7,10) and an image taking optical system (10,11,12,14) including an image taking diaphragm (10), an objective lens (2) for forming an image of the image taking diaphragm (10) onto an anterior ocular segment (Er) of an eye (E) to be examined is provided. The objective lens (2) is formed such that the entire light beam (R2) from the center of the image taking diaphragm (10) is substantially perpendicularly incident thereon. The objective lens (3) is a refractive index distributed lens in which a refractive index is high in a vicinity of an optical axis and reduces as a distance from the optical axis increases.

    • Provided is an ophthalmologic apparatus including: a scanning unit for scanning a measuring beam on a fundus of an eye to be inspected; an adjustment unit for performing focus adjustment for a plurality of image acquiring planes provided along an optical axis of the measuring beam projected on the fundus; a correction unit for correcting an aberration generated in the eye; an image acquiring unit for acquiring images for the plurality of image acquiring planes; and a calculation unit for calculating, in correspondence to a diopter of the eye, a focus displacement amount when an image of a first image acquiring plane is obtained and when an image of a second image acquiring plane at a predetermined distance away from the first image acquiring plane in the optical axis direction is obtained. The adjustment unit performs the focus adjustment in accordance with a calculation result in the calculation unit.
