摘要： A driver apparatus configurable for receiving and processing at least one input signal. The driver apparatus can be coupled to ground potential. The driver apparatus can include a processing portion, a ground potential coupler and a control portion. The processing portion can be configured for receiving and processing the at least one input signal in a manner so as to produce drive signals. The ground potential coupler can couple at least a portion of the processing portion to the ground potential such that the processing portion can be configured to produce the drive signals based on an effective reference potential. The control portion can be coupled to the processing portion and the ground potential coupler. Additionally, the control portion can be configured to receive and process at least a portion of the drive signals in a manner so as to control variance of the effective reference potential.

摘要： An amplifier apparatus includes a comparator (20) which compares an incoming signal (19) with a number of reference potentials. A switching stage (22) is controlled by the output of the comparator (20) and is arranged to select a voltage level to be applied to one side of a load (24), such as a loudspeaker system. An amplifier/subtractor (21) is included to subtract from the incoming signal (19) a percentage of the selected voltage level applied to the load. The amplifier/subtractor (21) amplifies the incoming signal (19) minus the percentage of the selected voltage level and applies it to a second side of the load (24). Also disclosed is a method for amplifying a signal.

摘要： A power multiplier apparatus for an amplifier comprises a power multiplier control stage (10), an amplifier stage (13) and a first switching stage (11) connectable to the power multiplier control stage (10).
