摘要： There is provided a tape print device allowing use of, as a long-tape-shaped print medium, a label tape having a plurality of label regions as print objects arranged on a long support tape in the longitudinal direction of the support tape and a normal tape capable of printing at an arbitrary position of a long-tape-shaped image reception medium. The tape print device includes judgment means for judging whether the currently used print medium is the label tape or the normal tape and feed cut control means for cutting the print medium by performing feed cut operation after free-feeding it. The feed cut control means has free feeding amount control means for controlling the free feeding amount before cutting in the feed cut operation according to the judgment result of the judgment means.
