    • The invention relates to a method for producing acrylic acid by a) producing a gaseous product mixture which essentially has the composition of a reaction mixture of the catalytic gas phase oxidation of C3-alkanes, -alkenes, -alkanols and/or alkanals and/or precursors thereof to acrylic acid. The method is characterised by b) the condensation of the gaseous product mixture; c) the crystallisation of the acrylic acid from the solution obtained in step b) with partial evaporation of the solution in a vacuum; d) the separation of the crystals obtained from the mother liquor; e) the returning of at least part of the mother liquor from step d) to step b) and f) the returning of at least part of the evaporated solution from step c) to step b).
