摘要： A combined cycle power plant with a gas turbine, steam turbine, and first HRSG comprises a CO2 capture plant for the at least partial capture of CO2 from the exhaust gases from the gas turbine. It comprises in particular a second HRSG or boiler arranged to receive a portion of the exhaust gases and transfer its heat to steam and feedwater. Steam generated in the second HRSG or boiler is used for the operation of the CO2 capture plant and/or to operate a steam turbine that drives a generator and optionally a CO2 compressor. The power plant according to the invention allows for greater flexibility in power plant part load control and power plant efficiency. A method to operate the power plant is also claimed.

摘要： Since CO2 is identified as a main greenhouse gas, its capture and storage is essential to control global warming. Competitiveness of power plants designed for CO2 capture and compression, retrofit ready power plants and efficient ways to retrofit conventional power plants to CO2 capture plants will allow earlier utilization of CO2 capture systems (12). The objective of the present invention is to provide a fossil fired power plant with minimum impact of the CO2 capture system (12) on the conventional part of the plant as well as a method to operate such a plant. Further, a power plant, which is ready for the retrofit of a CO2 capture plant and a method of retrofitting an existing plant into a power plant with CO2 capture as well as a method to operate this kind of plant are the object of the invention. One main aspect of the invention is to add a power plant part, which is capable of providing the steam and power required to operate CO2 capture system (12), and to provide a CO2 capture system (12), which has the capacity to remove CO2 from the flue gas flows of the conventional, and of the additional power plant part.

摘要： A combined cycle power plant includes a CO2 capture system operatively integrated with a liquefied natural gas LNG regasification system, where cold energy from the regasification process is used for cooling processes within the CO2 capture system or processes associated with it. These cooling systems include systems for cooling lean or rich absorption solutions for the CO2 capture or the cooling of flue gas. The LNG regasification system is arranged in one or more heat exchange stages having and one or more cold storage units. The power plant with CO2 capture can be operated at improved overall efficiencies.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for operating a combined cycle power plant (PP4), which comprises a steam turbine powertrain (10,11,12) with a high-pressure steam turbine (10), an intermediate pressure steam turbine (11) and a low-pressure steam turbine (12), whereby intermediate pressure steam (16) flowing from the exit of the high-pressure steam turbine (10) to the inlet of the intermediate pressure steam turbine (11) is reheated by means of the reheat device (17), and which is connected to a solar thermal plant (20), that generates additional solar steam (21) for being used by said steam turbine powertrain (10, 11, 12). The output of the solar steam generator is used more effectively, and the overall plant performance, flexibility and operability are enhanced by at least part of the additional solar steam (21) reaching the intermediate pressure steam turbine (11) without being reheated in said reheat device (17).
