The TPU comprises a safety equipment (11, 12), a safety TPU-part (22) having a first communication unit (49) and a main TPU-part (20) having a third communication unit (38). The control unit comprises a safety control part (24) having a second communication unit (46) and a main control part (26) having a forth communication unit (56). The first and second communication units are arranged such that they form a first communication channel for transferring communication data including information regarding the status of safety equipment from the TPU to the control unit, and the third and fourth communication units are arranged such that they form a second communication channel for transferring general communication data between the TPU and the control unit. 摘要： Disclosed is a method for operating a system according to time division multiple access (TDMA), comprising a plurality of wireless sensors and/or actuators as nodes (S.1 ... S.n) and a base station (BS), said system being installed in a machine or an installation, such as an industrial robot, automatic production or fabrication machine. Cyclical TDMA data transmission blocks are transmitted, each TDMA data transmission block being composed of successive time slots, each of which is assigned to a specific node. The uplink signals (UL.1 ... UL.n) from the different nodes (S.1 ... S.n) to the base station (BS) can be simultaneously transmitted on two, three or more different frequencies (f1, f2, f3) while the downlink signals (DL) from the base station (BSA) to the different nodes (S.1 ... S.n) are transmitted on a single frequency that is different from the uplink frequencies. The time slots and the different uplink frequencies are defined once and are subsequently maintained.

摘要： A transmitting node (24) in an industrial wireless network (WN1) transmits a first number of bits (BS) to a receiving node (30), where at least one bit is partitioned into segments and each segment is transmitted at a different frequency according to a frequency transmission scheme. The receiving node (30) receives the number of bits (BS), determines the quality of each segment of a received bit, collects quality determinations of segments, forms a quality measure for each frequency through combining quality determinations of the corresponding frequency, compares each quality measure with a quality measure criterion, determines at least one frequency that does not fulfill the quality measure criterion and informs (FII) the transmitting node about frequencies for which the corresponding quality measures do not fulfill the quality measure criterion. The transmitting node receives the information (FII) and updates the frequency transmission scheme.
