摘要： A method and system for aseptic filling of containers. The flexible containers (1) are presterilized and a rupturable membrane (41) covers the inlet to the container. The filling head (20) includes a recess (46) below the outlet valve (22) and this recess is closed by the rupturable membrane when the container inlet is aligned with the filling head. After alignment sterilizing fluid is introduced into the recess to sterilize the outer surface of the membrane and the internal surfaces of the recess. Following sterilization the outlet valve (22) of the filling head is opened and the pressure of the liquid breaks the rupturable membrane allowing the container to be filled. Subsequent to completion of the filling cycle the inlet to the container is sealed and the sealed and filled container (1) is then removed from the filling head (20).

摘要： A flexible container (1) for the storage of liquids which incorporates a resealable opening. A flap (5) is temporarily sealed over the opening (7) of the unfilled flexible container. When the container is filled this temporary seal (13) is broken and after filling a permanent heat seal (15) is formed by applying heat externally to the flexible container. The flap is heat sealable on the surface contacting the opening in the container wall but non-heat-sealable on its opposite surface. The temporary seal is preferably a heat activated or pressure sensitive coating which has a low cohesion with the opening of the flexible container wall.

摘要： A tap for use with flexible containers which is capable of rupturing a fracturable diaphragm. The tap comprises a plunger 7 carrying a piercing spigot 8 and having attached thereto a rearwardly extending valve 10 which closes the tap outlet. The piercing spigot 8 is located adjacent the inlet of the tap. The plunger 7 is secured to a diaphragm 6. In use on a container depression of the diaphragm 6 enables the piercing spigot to rupture a membrane 13 which is part of the flexible container for fluids.

A flap (5) having one heat sealable surface is attached to one wall of the container with its heat sealable surface underlying the collar so that after filling the collar can be closed by the flap and the filled container sealed for transportation. Subsequently the collar can be fitted with a tap which breaks the flap seal and enables the contents of the flexible container to be dispensed.
