摘要： A RF connector assembly, suitable for millimeter waves comprises a housing 100, holding a transmission line 200 and a RF connector 300. The transmission line has a band conductor 210 held in an outer conductor 220. The band conductor 210 is supported by a plurality of holding pins 240. The holding pins 240 are fixed by holes 223-224 in the outer conductor and penetrate the inner conductor through holes 213 therein. The holding pins 240 are injection molded parts made of plastic. They comprise of two sections 241-242 which can be connected together by a plug and socket connection. One end of the transmission line has a printed circuit board contact 211 for contacting a strip line 410, while the other end of the transmission line has a contact 212 for connecting the inner conductor of the RF connector.

To avoid severe damage, which may result in a breakdown of the station, a monitoring of the antenna cables and/or antennas is desired. A U- link connector is provided for simple refurbishment of the radio stations by simple exchanging existing U- link connectors. The U- link connector comprises a bias tee circuit, by which a DC signal can be coupled into the antenna cable for a cable test, which may even be performed during operation of an attached transmitter.

摘要： A RF connector comprises a coupling nut for locking the connector to a mating connector and a locking ring. When tightening the coupling nut, it pushes on the locking ring, which again pushes on a protrusion of the connector, moving the connector into a mating connector. When the coupling nut is tightened, the locking ring acts as a stop to limit the movement coupling nut leaving a gap between the connector and the mating connector. Due to this gap, the connector may be rotated in a locked state.
