    • A segment for a rehabilitation pipe comprises an inner surface plate (101) constituting an inner circumferential surface, and side plates (102, 103) and end plates (104, 105) provided upright on a peripheral edge of the inner surface plate (101). The inner surface plate (101), the side plates (102, 103), and the end plates (104, 105) are formed integrally from a plastic material and the segments (1) are linked in a circumferential direction and in a pipe-length direction to install a segmental rehabilitation pipe (40) inside an existing pipe (21). Each of the side plates (102, 103) is provided at an end in the vicinity of the end plate (104, 105) with an opening (102b, 103b) used for a linking operation of the segments (1) in the circumferential direction. The opening (102b, 103b) formed in the side plate (102, 103) is formed so that the filler material (30) injected into the space between the existing pipe (21) and the segmental rehabilitation pipe (40) flows in or out through the opening (102b, 103b).

    • A pipe lining material (1) comprising an inner lining material (11) and an outer lining material (10) is used to rehabilitate an aged existing pipe (22). The inner lining material (11) and the outer lining material (10) are made of a tubular resin-absorbent material that is impregnated with a photo-curing resin and a thermosetting resin. The resin-absorbent material (11a) of the inner lining material (11) has a higher density than that of the outer lining material (10). The photo-curing resin of the inner and outer lining materials (11, 10) is cured by light when the pipe lining material (1) is irradiated with light, and the heat generated when the photo-curing resin is cured cures the thermosetting resin of the inner and outer lining materials (11,10). Since the resin-absorbent material (11a) of the inner lining material (11) has a high density, voids are less readily formed. Even if voids are generated in the resin-absorbent material (10a) of the outer lining material (10), the voids will be covered by the inner lining material (11) having fewer voids. This ensures that the pipe lining material (1) will have better water-tightness.

    • A rehabilitating pipe segment of the invention is comprised of first and second segment halves (3, 4) that are linked together to provide a variable-width segment (2). The first segment half (3) has an internal surface plate (301), a convex plate (302) extending parallel to the internal surface plate, and a side plate (303) extending perpendicular to the internal surface plate. The second segment half (4) has an internal surface plate (401), an internal plate (402) extending parallel thereto and forming a concavity (407), and a side plate (403) extending perpendicular to the internal surface plate. The convex plate (302) and a braking rubber (5) are fitted into the concavity (407) so as to link the first and second segment halves (3, 4) together to provide the variable-width segment (2). When tension of a specified amount or greater acts on the variable-width segment, the first and second segment halves (3, 4) move relative to each other in the pipe length direction against the braking force of the braking rubber (5). The rehabilitating pipe segment is used to assemble a rehabilitating pipe (8) having earthquake resistance.

    • A method of repairing a flow passage is provided that allows prevention of deformation of a tubular assembly after hardening of grout material, to maintain the tubular assembly in a desired cylindrical shape. The method comprises the steps of forming a tubular assembly in a pipe, the tubular assembly having an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the pipe; filling a grout material in a clearance between the tubular assembly and the inner wall of the pipe; disposing a tubular expansible and contractile pressure bag within the clearance between the tubular assembly and the inner wall of the pipe in a longitudinal direction of the pipe; filling the pressure bag with a fluid to expand the pressure bag; and supporting the tubular assembly with the expanded pressure bag. With the foregoing process of the present invention, slight deformation of the tubular assembly due to the pressure of the grout material can be absorbed through elastic deformation of the pressure bag to prevent partial deformation of the hardened tubular assembly, thereby maintaining the overall tubular assembly in the desired cylindrical shape.

    • A block unit for repairing flow passage facilities is provided for permitting a desired repair operation. A method of repairing flow passage facilities using the block unit is also provided. The block unit includes an inner plate defining an inner surface, an outer plate disposed along a peripheral edge of the inner plate, and a plurality of reinforcing ribs for reinforcing the inner plate and the outer plate. The block units adjoining in a circumferential direction are joined together with bolts inserted through both circumferential end faces of each the block unit and nuts fitted on the bolts to form a short tube within a flow passage. The short tubes are connected in a longitudinal direction to form a continuous tubular assembly having an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the flow passage. A grout material is injected into a clearance space formed between the tubular assembly and the flow passage.
