摘要： A glass material for enamel is provided that can be used to produce an enamel product in which a luster pigment does not dissolve in glass and can thus maintain its luster properties to provide a metallic texture and high surface gloss.
The glass material for enamel in accordance with the present invention is characterized by containing a frit that has a composition thereof including 40 wt% to 60 wt% of silicon dioxide, 15 wt% to 35 wt% of boron oxide, and 18 wt% or less of one or more alkali metal oxides selected from the group consisting of lithium oxide, sodium oxide and potassium oxide, and a luster pigment for providing a metallic look.

摘要： To prepare an overglaze color for applying on a pottery glaze, there are mixed together silica rock and kaolin which together supply silicon dioxide and alumina, and boron oxide (10 - 40 wt %), an alkali metal carbonate (to provide the corresponding oxide) (2-17%), hafnium oxide, and optionally a rare earth element oxide (0.1-15%) or an oxide of zinc, bismuth, zirconium, strontium and/or an alkaline earth metal, the mixture is pulverized, melted at 1000 - 1400°C for 0.5 to 2 hours, matured, pulverized and the resulting frit is mixed with a pigment, e.g. copper carbonate, ferric oxide, antimony trioxide or cobalt oxide.
The frit contains silicon dioxide (30-70 wt %). alumina (0.1-15%) and said other oxides, and a dispersion is painted onto a glaze, and although it contains no lead or cadmium it has good color developing property and a thermal expansion coefficient similar to a conventional overglaze; it can be fired at 700 to 900°C, and is acid- and alkali-resistant.

摘要： The invention provides a process of producing a titanium oxide-forming solution, wherein a hydrogen peroxide solution is added to a titanium-containing starting aqueous solution to form a peroxotitanium complex, a basic substance is then added to the peroxotitanium complex to obtain a solution which is in turn let stand or heated, thereby forming a precipitate of a peroxotitanium hydrate polymer, at least a dissolved component derived from the titanium-containing starting aqueous solution, except water, is then removed from the precipitate, and a hydroxide peroxide solution is finally allowed to act on a dissolved component-free precipitate. The invention also provides a dispersion with titanium oxide dispersed therein.

摘要： Porous ceramics having high porosity and a narrow pore size distribution are obtained by preparing a dilute slurry by mixing a ceramic raw material with a solution of such an organic high-molecular compound as ammonium alginate, which is capable of being gelled by reaction with an acid or a di- or more-valent cation, or by being heated or cooled. The slurry is contacted with a liquid or gel in which the acid or a di- or more-valent cation is present, or is heated or cooled to obtain a green ceramic gel body, and the obtained body fired. A hybrid porous ceramic is obtained if the slurry contains a di- or more-valent cation compound as a gelling agent. The porous ceramics have improved resistance and mechanical strength, typically compression strength, and a narrower pore size distribution, thus being suitable as catalyst carriers for high-temperature purposes or as carriers for bioreactors.
