    • Provided are an electrolytic capacitor with high withstand voltage capable of preventing deterioration of withstand voltage characteristics caused by lead-free reflow or the like and improving ESR characteristics, and a manufacturing method thereof. The electrolytic capacitor is obtained by impregnating a capacitor element in which an anode electrode foil and a cathode electrode foil are wound with a separator interposed, with a dispersion containing: particles of a conductive polymer; sorbitol or sorbitol and polyalcohol; and a solvent so as to form a solid electrolyte layer containing 60 to 92 wt% of the sorbitol or the sorbitol and polyalcohol, and by filling an electrolytic solution containing ethylene glycol in a gap portion in the capacitor element on which the solid electrolyte layer is formed.

    • A capacitor element (20), in which a bipolar electrode foil connected with a lead terminal (10) is wound through a separator, is stored in a bottomed cylindrical outer case (30) made of aluminum or the like. A tube (100) made of a flexible material is movably set to the outer periphery of the round bar (12) of the lead terminal and the tube-provided lead terminal is drawn outward through a sealing body (110) set on the inner periphery of the opening of the outer case (30). The sealing body is constituted so that an elastic ring (113) made of a flexible material is set on the outer periphery of a sealing plate (112) made of a hard material harder than the tube. The tube-provided lead terminal is inserted into each of a pair of through-holes (111) provided at the sealing plate. The tube is deformed due to the pressure produced when inserting the lead terminal into each through-hole so as to extend in the inserting direction and thereby, it is possible to bring the tube into close contact with the round bar and with the through-holes. Therefore, it is possible to improve the airtightness of a lead-drawing portion.
