The methods and systems use a recirculating pump associated with a first device that provides periodic power supply to the recirculation pump. The first device may comprise a device selected from a timer, a relay or a controller. The methods and systems may include a second device in association with the first device, and the second device senses a condition in the system and determines and measures a parameter of the condition. The second device signals the first device to periodically supply power to the recirculation pump based on the determined and measured parameter of the sensed condition. Preferably, the second device senses a parameter of pressure, temperature, electric current and/or voltage and product dispense-patterns.

摘要： Disclosed is a hybrid beverage dispenser that can be configured in a number of flexible arrangements, providing the opportunity for a configurable beverage dispensing "station" having a variable "footprint". The hybrid beverage dispenser may have "on board" refrigeration and/or heating system for providing both hot and cold beverages from the same dispenser. A remote chiller may provide chilled syrups for the beverages. Also disclosed is a countertop hybrid beverage dispensing unit for situations where limited space is an issue. The duration of the freeze cycle is able to adapt to changes in inlet water temperature, changes in ambient air temperature, and the impact of warm temperatures of internal ice making parts within the ice machine due to off cycle periods. This is accomplished through a combination of starting a freeze time period only after the water temperature for the volume of water circulating over the evaporator has reached approximately 32°F, and a freeze time period value that is a function of the refrigerant temperature leaving the condenser at the time where the water reaches approximately 32°F.

摘要： Disclosed are methods and devices for sealing components and areas of the food zone of an ice machine, including systems that transport fluids and devices used for the production and harvest of ice. Due to the form, fit, and function of food zone components, gaps or pathways may exist in that unwanted fluids or solids may enter the food zone. Pathways for contamination to enter a food zone include: refrigeration tubing, water supply, drain tubing, electrical connections, and devices for antimicrobial protection, automatic cleaning systems, ice harvest assist, and transportation of ice from the ice making surface to the storage bin. Methods and devices of creating contaminant-proof barriers are disclosed, including: sealing, trapping, gasketing and/or creating a positive pressure within the food zone, alone or in combination. The methods and devices can be used in a systematic arrangement to create an essentially contaminant-proof ice machine food zone.
