    • A door handle arrangement for vehicles including an electrically insulating cover (10) having an outer actuating surface (12) for a user characterised by at least one metal actuating electrode (25) disposed on the inner side of the cover (10) that is on the side of the cover facing away from the actuating surface (12). The cover (10) is elastically deformable by an actuation in the area of the actuating surface (12). The arrangement includes at least one sensor electrode (20) that is disposed at a distance from the actuating element and opposite the inner side of the cover (10), wherein the sensor electrode (20) lies opposite the actuating electrode (25) at least in certain sections so that the distance between actuating electrode (25) and sensor electrode (20) is variable during deformation of the cover (10) in the region of the actuating surface. The arrangement also includes a control and evaluation device (35) which is coupled at least to the sensor electrode (20) to detect a capacitance between sensor electrode (20) and actuating electrode (25).

    • An assembly for deploying a device from a cavity. The assembly includes a translatable cover and a mounting surface defining an opening sized to receive the translatable cover thereover. The device is received in the cavity beneath the mounting surface and is actuatable between a first device position and a second device position. A plurality of linkages are positioned within the cavity. At least one of the plurality of linkages is coupled to a power source for actuating the plurality of linkages and at least one of the plurality of linkages is coupled to the translatable cover and to the device. Thus, when the power source actuates the plurality of linkages, the translatable cover is translated relative to the mounting surface from a first cover position to a second cover position and the device is actuated from the first device position to the second device position.

    • The cylinder lock assembly includes a cylindrical lock housing having an inner core extending between first and second ends. The inner core defines a core axis extending through the first and second ends. A lock cylinder is received in the inner core for rotational and axial movement in the inner core. The lock cylinder includes an axially extending key slot for receiving a key therein and a radially extending slot extending through the lock cylinder and intersecting the key slot. A rotation plate assembly is received in the radially extending slot and blocks at least a portion of the key slot. The rotation plate includes first and second rotation plate members which are movable relative to each other. A first biasing member engaging the first and second rotation plate members urges the second rotation plate member radially away from the first rotation plate member. The first and second rotation plate members define a space therebetween having a variable radial dimension for receiving therethrough the key received in the key slot, wherein upon insertion of the key through the space and into the key hole, the key engages the first rotation plate member to urge the first rotation plate member radially toward the second plate member against the urging of the first biasing member to allow the key to enter the key slot through the space.
