    • The invention relates to a gas powered gun (1) for discharge of projectiles, comprising an open-close valve (60) arranged in a rear end of a pressure chamber (11), and arranged, in its open state, to allow passage of gas from the pressure chamber (11) into a barrel (4), to thereby discharge a projectile (12). The open-close valve (60) comprises a valve seat (44) and a valve head (62) provided in one end of an elongated extension member (63). A hammer (9) is arranged to cooperate with a hammer cooperating member (68) provided at a second end of the elongated extension member (63). The hammer (9) is arranged between the valve head (62) and the hammer cooperating member (68), so that, when the hammer (9) is moved in the firing direction into contact with the hammer cooperating member (68), the hammer cooperating member (68) pulls the valve head (62) out of contact with the valve seat (44), thereby bringing the open-close valve (60) to its open state.

    • A gas powered gun and a pressure tube for a gas powered gun each comprises a gas regulator between a pressure chamber and a source of compressed gas. The gas regulator comprises a body forming first and second cylindrical portions connected to each other. The first cylindrical portion is in fluid connection with the pressure chamber. A piston is mounted for sliding movement in the first and second cylindrical portions. A valve seat is in the second cylindrical portion. An intermediate chamber is in the second cylindrical portion between the piston and the valve seat and in fluid connection with the source of compressed gas. A passageway through the piston connects the pressure chamber with the intermediate chamber. A biasing member presses the piston resiliently away from the valve seat. A valve seat adjusting mechanism is accessible to a user for adjusting a position of the valve seat.

The knob has a cam surface (39) having a varying radial distance from the axis of rotation, and a follower (32), integrated with the spring abutment, is pressed by the spring to rest against the cam surface. When the adjustment knob is turned, the follower will slide against the cam surface and move the follower and the spring abutment in the spring loading direction, to thereby adjust a pretension of the spring.
