摘要： A particle separator module and a heat exchange chamber module connectable to a circulating fluidized bed boiler. The particle separator module includes 2N vertically aligned steam tubes, N being an integer greater than one. Each of the vertically aligned steam tubes is attached to a boiler upper portion and extends downwards to a predetermined level. Each of the 2N vertically aligned steam tubes is attached to one of N first beams. Each of the N first beams is suspended to hang in a horizontal position at the predetermined level by two adjacent steam tubes of the 2N vertically aligned steam tubes. N second beams are attached in a horizontal position to the top surface of the heat exchange chamber module, which is arranged to be suspended from the particle separator module by having each of the N second beams suspended by two adjacent beams of the N first beams.

摘要： A fluidized bed boiler has a heat exchanger with a front wall, a rear wall opposite to the front wall, and two side walls, formed as water tube panels. An inlet opening in a first section of an upper portion of the heat exchanger introduces hot particles from the fluidized bed boiler to the heat exchanger. Heat exchange surfaces for recovering heat from the particles and an outlet opening are arranged in a second section of the upper portion for returning cooled particles as an overflow from the heat exchanger back to the boiler. The heat exchanger further includes a partition wall between the first and the second sections of the upper portion of the heat exchanger. The partition wall extends from the front wall to a center section of the heat exchanger, and is formed by bending water tubes from at least one side wall of the heat exchanger.

摘要： A method of reducing sulfur dioxide emissions of an oxyfuel combustion circulating fluidized bed boiler, comprising the steps of feeding a first stream comprising sulfur-containing carbonaceous fuel to a furnace of the boiler; feeding a second stream comprising CaCO3 to the furnace;feeding a stream of substantially pure oxygen to the furnace so as to combust the fuel, whereby SO2 and SO3 are formed and flue gas consisting mainly of carbon dioxide and water is produced;discharging the flue gas from the furnace to an upper flue gas channel; recycling a first portion of the flue gas from the upper flue gaschannel via a recycling channel back to the furnace, and discharging a second portion of the flue gas from the upper flue gaschannel via a discharge channel, wherein the second stream is fed at such a rate relative to the first stream that the molar ratio of calcium in the second stream to sulfur in the first stream (the Ca/S molar ratio) is between about 0.02and about 0.5 so as to capture atleast a portion of the formed SO3 in the furnace or in the upper flue gas channel to CaSO4.

摘要： A method of operating an oxycombustion circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler that includes a furnace having a grid at its bottom section, a solid material separator connected to an upper part of the furnace, and an external solid material handling system. Oxidant gas is introduced into the CFB boiler through the grid as fluidizing gas, the fluidizing gas including recirculating flue gas. Fuel material is introduced into the circulating fluidized bed. A sulfur reducing agent including CaCO3 is introduced into the circulating fluidized bed. Solid material is circulated out of the furnace and provides an external circulation of solid material via the external solid material handling system. The solid material is fluidized in the external solid material handling system by introducing a fluidizing medium including recirculating flue gas into the handling system. A predetermined amount of steam is introduced into the handling system as a component of the fluidizing medium.
