摘要： A liquid treatment system using gas flotation to separate suspended matter from liquid influent, including a flotation tank into which the liquid influent is fed through an inlet, an outlet conduit through which treated effluent is fed from the flotation tank, a separation conduit for feeding liquid to a bubble release point, means for pressurising the liquid in the separation conduit and dissolving gas in the pressurised liquid, wherein an energy recovery device is used for reducing pressure of the liquid before the bubble release point such that gas bubbles are released into the flotation tank for floating said suspended matter to a surface of the liquid in the tank, and wherein the energy recovery device supplies energy obtained through said pressure reduction of the liquid.

摘要： An aquarium system for aquatic organisms capable of easily performing maintenance of a purifying device and a circulation pump, etc., and downsizing a purifying zone is provided. The system of the present invention includes an aquarium 1, a partition wall 2 dividing the aquarium into a nurturing zone 11 and a purifying zone 12, a circulation pump 81 for circulating water between the nurturing zone 11 and the purifying zone 12, and at least one purifying device selected from a filter 50 for filtering water by making the water pass through a filtering material, a protein skimmer 70 for removing proteins contained in the water by making the proteins adhere to air bubbles, and an ultraviolet light irradiator for sterilizing the water by irradiating ultraviolet light to the water. The circulation pump and the at least one purifying device constitute a unit member. The unit member is mounted on a mounting frame to thereby form a purification unit 3. 摘要： It has been discovered that a mechanical flotation system having only two cells can be nearly as efficient as one having more cells, yet provide an apparatus with a considerably smaller footprint, significantly reduced capital and operating costs, as well as be resistant to floating oil recovery platform wave effects. The dual-cell mechanical flotation system has, in sequential order, an inlet chamber (16) and two gasification chambers or cells (18,20), each with at least one gas ingestion and mixing mechanism (32), and a discharge chamber (22). A common primary skim collection channel (40) atop the partition diving the gasification chambers efficiently channels away the bulk of the floating collected matter. At least one baffle (60) depending from the top of the vessel near the primary skim collection channel (40) helps dampen the action of the fluid containing the suspended matter when the vessel is affected by wave motion against the floating oil production platform. A partition (42) dividing the inlet chamber (16) from the first gasification chamber (18) and a partition (46) dividing the second gasification chamber (20) from the outlet chamber (22) both extending from the top of the vessel downward.
