摘要： An aquarium overflow device capable of preventing inadvertent supply of water in an aquarium from being supplied to an outside during, e.g., power failure is provided.
The present invention is directed to an aquarium overflow device for supplying the water in an aquarium to an external device outside the aquarium. The device is equipped with a reversed U-shaped siphon pipe 55 for supplying the water in the aquarium to an outside of the aquarium, the siphon pipe having an inlet side end portion disposed in the aquarium and an inlet side end portion disposed with the outlet side end portion disposed outside the aquarium, suction means for sucking an inside of the siphon pipe, the suction means being connected to an upper portion of the siphon pipe 55, and air introduction means for introducing air to an upper portion in the siphon pipe when suction by the suction means stops.

摘要： An overflow device for a water tank, having a simplified structure and whose cost is reduced. The overflow device for a water tank supplies water (W) in the water tank to an external apparatus outside the water tank and supplies water (W) of the external apparatus into the water tank. The overflow device has a reverse U-shaped siphon pipe (55) having the inflow side end placed inside the water tank, having the outflow side end placed outside the water tank, and leading the water (W) in the water tank to supply it to the external apparatus; a reverse U-shaped discharge pipe (56) having the inflow side end placed outside the water tank and also having the outflow side end placed inside the water tank; water sending means for sending the water (W) out of the external apparatus and causing it to flow into the discharge pipe (56); and a connection tube (8) for interconnecting the upper part of the siphon pipe (55) and the upper part of the discharge pipe (56). When the water (W) is supplied to the discharge pipe (56) by drive of the water sending means, the inside of the siphon pipe (55) is sucked via the connection tube (8) by suction force produced by a flow of the water (W).

摘要： An aquarium system for aquatic organisms capable of easily performing maintenance of a purifying device and a circulation pump, etc., and downsizing a purifying zone is provided. The system of the present invention includes an aquarium 1, a partition wall 2 dividing the aquarium into a nurturing zone 11 and a purifying zone 12, a circulation pump 81 for circulating water between the nurturing zone 11 and the purifying zone 12, and at least one purifying device selected from a filter 50 for filtering water by making the water pass through a filtering material, a protein skimmer 70 for removing proteins contained in the water by making the proteins adhere to air bubbles, and an ultraviolet light irradiator for sterilizing the water by irradiating ultraviolet light to the water. The circulation pump and the at least one purifying device constitute a unit member. The unit member is mounted on a mounting frame to thereby form a purification unit 3. The purification unit 3 is accommodated in the purifying zone 12 in a removably inserted manner in a state in which the unit member is mounted on the mounting frame.

The present invention is directed to an aquarium overflow device for supplying the water W in an aquarium to an external device outside the aquarium and for supplying the water W in the external device into the aquarium. When the water W is supplied to the discharge pipe 56 by driving the water conveyance means, a suction force generated by the flow of the water W causes suction of an inside of the siphon pipe via the connection tube 8.
