摘要： The present invention relates to an operating mechanism (1) for operating a of at least one parking brake of a motor vehicle via braking cables (110, 120). The operating mechanism (1) comprises a first driving unit (10, 30, 90) for driving a first actuating element (40) and a second driving unit (60, 80, 100) for driving a second actuating element (50), wherein the second actuating element (50) engages the first actuating element (40). Due to the relative movement of the first actuating element (40) with respect to the second actuating element (50), at least one braking cable (110, 120) is tightened or released for actuating of the at least one parking brake. Further, the invention comprises a method for actuating of parking brakes with the operating mechanism (1), wherein for tightening or releasing of the at least one braking cable (110, 120) the driving units (10, 30, 90, 60, 80, 100) are driven with the same as well as with opposing rotational direction.

摘要： The present invention relates to a parking brake lever that is operated by a hand. The parking brake lever has a supporting member fixed to a vehicle frame and which is provided with ratchet portion, and an oscillating member, which oscillates with respect to the supporting member between braking position and releasing position. A push button is provided in one end of the oscillating member. A pawl and a connecting member are operatively interposed between the push button and ratchet portion. The connecting member includes a flexible cable. According to the present invention, even if the push button is inadvertently pressed, the parking brake does not release unless the oscillating member is pulled upwardly. Thus, accident probability caused from inadvertent release of a parking brake is reduced.

For embodiments of such electromechanical parking brake systems with electrically actuatable actuators (1) directly on the parking brake, the invention proposes auxiliary actuating devices (17) in several variants which essentially consist of a control element (39) within reach of the driver and operated by muscle power and a transmission element (22, 38, 45). In the process, the transmission of the actuating force can be done both pneumatically and mechanically in case of auxiliary operation or emergency operation, starting from the control element (39) via the transmission element (22, 38, 45) to the actuator (1) and the parking brake. Auxiliary operation using pneumatic power transmission considerably simplifies installation of supply cable for the electromechanically actuatable parking brake provides ease of operation.
