After calculating the friction force Foi(t) the motion of a tread block (11 ) depending o a pressure distribution during the movement of the tread block (11) through the contact area A0 and on characteristics of a tire body (12) is calculated (23). The resulting µ-slippage curve is composed from effective µ-slippage values µslip for different slippage values Sslip (25), wherein effective µ-slippage values µslip are calculated based on the friction force Foi(t) and a nominal force FNI(t) derived from the pressure distribution (24).
