Said device is characterised in that the filtration or grading surface consists of at least one substantially rigid cover surface (10) of at least one essentially circular filtration plate (3) comprising a hollow internal chamber, which can be rotated about a substantially central axis (2, 2'), said internal chamber being connected to the drain line for the treated liquid. At least one additional element lies directly adjacent to the filtration or grading surface and the device also has guide and drive devices, which allow said element and the filtration plate (3) to execute a displacement in relation to one another, parallel to the plane of the filtration plate (3).

      es wird auf das erste Quantum ein Zwischenkörper aufgebracht, der aus einem unter Druck und/oder Wärme sich verflüchtigenden Material besteht;
      es wird ein zweites Quantum sinterfähigen Pulvers auf den Zwischenkörper aufgeschüttet;
      die beiden Quanten mit dem dazwischen befindlichen Zwischenkörper werden durch Verdichten zu einem Zwischenprodukt geformt;
      das Zwischenprodukt wird gesintert, gegebenenfalls durch mechanische Bearbeitung in die endgültige Form gebracht und mit einer filtrierenden Schicht überzogen;
      vor dem oder während des Verdichtens werden Maßnahmen getroffen, um den Druck im Formnest zu beeinflussen.

    • A screen is described wherein one end of the screen frame is provided with an upwardly open channel profile and the other end with a similar but downwardly open channel profile, such that the outboard edge of an upwardly open profile will fit within the channel of a downwardly open profile provided along the edge of an adjoining screen frame, to enable two such screens to be connected together and to enable linear movement in a direction generally perpendicular to the line of engagement and generally in the plane of at least one of the two screens, to be transmitted from one screen frame to the other. The engagement of one profile by another also serves to close the gap between the two screen frames and prevent at least particulate material from passing therebetween. Preferably the engagement prevents liquid from passing therebetween. The engagement may comprise a lost motion connection so as to permit one frame to be hingeable relative to the other about the connection, but still provides a reliable force-transmitting connection to enable a rear screen frame to be removed from the support structure simply by pulling out the front frame of the pair.

The press rolls have apertured or perforated mantle surfaces (5) for removing liquid from a liquid-drenched material (3) to be concentrated and advanced between the press rolls.
