    • A gas supplying mechanism in a gas powered toy gun comprises a gas passage (58,59;98, 100) for supplying gas to be used for shooting a sham bullet (BB) put in a bullet holding chamber (23;73), a movable valve (50:99) for controlling the gas passage (58,59;98,100) to be open for supplying the gas and closed for ceasing to supply the gas selectively, a hammer (24:74) operative selectively to rotate at high speed to a first position from a second position in response to a triggering operation performed for shooting the sham bullet (BB) and to rotate at low speed to the first position from the second position independently of the triggering operation, a positioning member (32A;82A) provided to come into contact with the hammer (24;74) put in the first position for positioning the same, and a movable linking member (43;90) for moving in a first manner corresponding to the high speed rotation of the hammer (24;74) to push the movable valve (50:99) to move for shifting the gas passage (58,59;98,100) to be open when the hammer (24;74) rotates at the high speed and for moving in a second manner corresponding to the low speed rotation of the hammer (24;74) to cause the movable valve (50;99) to keep the gas passage (58, 59;98, 100) closed without pushing the movable valve (50;99) to move when the hammer (50;99) rotates at the low speed.

The pressure accumulating chamber (23) is provided therein with a partition member (31) for partitioning the pressure accumulating chamber (23) into a main chamber (30M) into which liquefied gas is injected through the gas introducing structure (24,34) from the gas injecting opening (21) and a subchamber (30S) positioned between the main chamber (30M) and the gas discharging passage (26) and a gas passage forming portion (33) extending from the partition member (31) into the main chamber (30M) for forming a gas passage connecting the main chamber (30M) with the subchamber (30S) and having an end portion (33a) reaching a position closer to the bottom portion (22a) of the case member (22) than an end portion of the gas introducing structure (24,34).
