    • The invention relates to a wheel suspension (1) for a motor vehicle for supporting a wheel of the vehicle on the structure of the vehicle, comprising a wheel carrier (2) for coupling to the wheel, a lower trapezoidal-link (3) which comprises, on the inside, a rear guide bearing (14) for coupling to the structure and a front guide bearing (15) for coupling to the structure, and which is coupled, on the outside, to the wheel carrier (2) by means of a lower support link (16), an upper roll-over strut (4) which comprises, in the inside, an upper guide bearing (17) for coupling to the structure and which is coupled, on the outside, to the wheel support (2) by means of an upper support link (18), and a coupling link (5) which is coupled via a lower coupling bearing (19) to the trapezoidal-link (3) and via an upper coupling bearing (20) to the wheel support (2). A structure which ensures the wheel suspension (1) is rigid with respect to transversal forces and elastic with respect to longitudinal forces when an inner connecting line (31), which links the rear guide bearing (14) to the front guide bearing (15), in a projection in the direction of a vertical projection (Z axis) and horizontal projection plane (X-Y axis) extending essentially parallel to an outer connecting line (32) which joins the lower coupling bearing (19) to the lower support link (16), is obtained.
