The ammonium phosphate-containing fire retardant preferably comprises the reaction mixture of aqueous phosphoric acid and an alkylene oxide. Preferably, the boric acid or alkali metal borate is present in an amount of from about 2.5% to about 12% by weight of solids in the phosphate-containing fire retardant. Such compositions are less susceptible to exudation of the fire retardant from treated wood panels during drying of the panels at elevated temperatures, and are particularly suitable for use in continuous treatment processes.

摘要： The present invention relates to a thermal insulation product manufactured from plant-based fibre material, the density of which is 20-120 kg/m 3 , and the fibre material of which is impregnated with an impregnation solution which contains a mixture of fire retardant and anti-mould agent dissolved in a solvent composition which is formed of a poorly evaporating solvent containing OH groups, which solvent is capable of preventing the crystallization of the fire retardants and anti-mould agents and allows them to diffuse into the fibres and chips of the fibre material for a long time, or of a mixture of several such solvents. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing such a product, wherein the impregnation is carried out using at least a slight overpressure.

摘要： A solution for wood preservation is suitable for preservation of wood against wood pests (fungi, insects, termites) that increases resistance of wood against biotic and abiotic factors of decay. The solution for wood preservation comprises an aqueous solution of amine, copper salt, boron salt, quaternary ammonium compound, and carboxylic acid. Preferable embodiment is a solution for wood preservation, consisting of ethanolamine, copper (II) sulphate, disodium octaborate tetrahydrate, alkylbenzyldimethyl ammonium chloride, and octanoic acid dissolved in water. This composition results in improved copper fixation (decreased leaching of active ingredients from wood during weathering) and improved resistance against the most important wood destroying organisms like wood decay fungi, insects and termites.
