    • Conical stopper for damaged aluminum and iron made vehicle sump, it is related to a stopper (10) of a type used in threaded openings (AB) of several vehicle oil sumps (CT). Said conical stopper (10) comprises a single piece (20) which is preferably manufactured with steel or any other suitable material, said conical stopper having a hexagonal head (21). A threaded NPT portion (23) extends from a proximal end of a flat surface (22) in the hexagonal head (21), said threaded portion having a truncated cone-shape and the base (23A) of said threaded portion having a wider diameter (dI) and extends longitudinally in accordance with an axis (El) having a slight tapering and configures a reduced diameter (d2) in a distal end (23B). Said slight angularity tapering (a) in said threaded portion (23) configures gradual sealing points (PV) for local sealing of damaged threaded openings (AB) in several vehicle oil sumps (CT), thus avoiding lubricating oil to run off from sumps.

    • Connector assembly and methods usable to block fluid flow therethrough. The connector comprises a female hub having an axial bore, internal threads, and an internal shoulder. The hub is adapted to connect to a fluid container, valve, or conduit and to receive a male connector adapted to block fluid flow through the connector assembly. The male connector comprises external threads and a face comprising a front seal adapted to engage the shoulder. The face comprises a ring-shaped surface adapted to contact the shoulder and form a fluid seal. The face comprises an outer seal that is positioned outwards from the ring-shaped surface and adapted to engage a circumferential surface of the hub. Embodiments of the current invention relate to fluid connectors and methods usable to form a sealed fluid connection between a female connector and a male connector, wherein the male connector comprises an axial bore extending therethrough.

    • An elongated two-piece expandable sealing plug (20) that is adapted to sealingly close a marginal end portion of a hole or opening (22) provided in a body (21) broadly comprises: a cup-shaped member (23) having an annular open upper end, having an outer surface that is adapted to face toward a wall on the body surrounding the opening, and having an inner surface (38) that diverges radially outwardly in a direction toward the member upper end; and a head having an outer rim portion (25) mounted on the upper end marginal end portion of the member for rotation therewith, and having a central portion (26) arranged within, and secured to, the rim portion; wherein the member is adapted to be inserted (i.e., slidably and/or rotatively) into a marginal end portion of the body opening (FIG. 2); and wherein the central portion is adapted to be forcibly pushed toward the bottom of the cup-shaped member to (a) cause the central portion to physically separate from the rim portion, and (b) cause such separated central portion to movably engage the inner surface of the member to urge the member outer surface to move radially outwardly into engagement with the walls of the body about the opening (FIG. 4).
