摘要： A process for water treatment, including a combination of methods from the group comprising coagulation, sedimentation, flocculation and ballast flocculation, which is further improved by the addition of a simplified sludge recirculation system. The recirculation system corresponding to this process allows higher sludge density as well as less significant water volume losses by making the sludge accumulating at the bottom of the sedimentation zone go through a hydro cyclone a certain number of times in repeated cycles thus augmenting the solid particles density of the extracted sludge. The system may also be controlled by a suspended solid analyser, a flow meter and/or a timer. The present invention also includes a method of producing specific fluid flow control behaviour with this simplified sludge recirculation system, which furthermore improves the efficiency of the process.

摘要： A water purifier includes: a purified water tank storing purified water; a hot water tank connected to the purified water tank to receive the purified water from the purified water tank and including a heater heating the received purified water; a manipulation unit through which an extraction amount of hot water is inputted; and a control unit performing a control to supply the purified water of the purified water tank to the hot water tank by the extraction amount of hot water, when the extraction amount of hot water is inputted to the manipulation unit, and operating the heater to heat the water of the hot water tank. According to the present invention, the power consumption of the water purifier decreases in comparison with a conventional water purifier. Furthermore, it is possible to provide an accurate amount of hot water to a user without using a water level sensor.

摘要： A solid chemical feed system, preferably including two feed bowls (14, 16), comprises a quantity of solid chemicals that dissolve upon immersion in water to form a liquid solution. A sump (12) is provided to receive liquid solution from the feed bowls (14, 16), the liquid solution with additive chemicals being used to inhibit corrosion and rust. The feed system comprises a valve system (46, 54, 56) that is controlled by a sensor (72) that detects the conductivity of the liquid solution to alternatingly switch the introduction of liquid solution from one feed bowl (14) to the other feed bowl (16). Upon depletion of chemical feed in one bowl (14, 16), desired treatment will continue and the empty bowl may be replaced without disruption.
