摘要： The present invention relates to an interlabial pad capable of being mounted in close contact with the woman’s labia, and provides an interlabial pad constructed to facilitate the mounting thereof in the woman’s labia in close contact therewith. A sheet body (2) is attached to the opposite-to-body side of an interlabial pad (1) to form a pair of fingertip insertion ports (3, 4) on opposite sides, so that two fingers are inserted in the fingertip insertion ports (3, 4) to hold the sheet body (2) between the two fingers, thereby folding the interlabial pad (1) outward substantially along the vertical centerline to form a raised region (5) on the body-side surface; with this form maintained, it can be mounted in the labia (9).

摘要： Articles and methods for tissue repair are provided. A support may include a patterned adhesive that provides regions of discrete adhesion points. An adhesive isolating material may cover all or a portion of the adhesive and may delay adhesion between the support and the tissue until the isolating material is removed from the support (e.g., by biodegradation), thereby exposing the adhesive. Adhesion between the support and the tissue surface may be varied after repositioning, for example, by controlling the amount of adhesive exposed to the tissue and/or the composition of the adhesive. Methods of applying a support to a tissue using a transfer device are also provided. A support may be transferred to a tissue surface and/or a material may be removed from a tissue surface by contact adhesion, e.g., where the adhesion strength between the support and the tissue (or material and removal instrument) is greater than the adhesion strength between the support and the transfer device (or material and tissue surface).

摘要： A two-piece diaper system having a re-usable shell and a removable and replaceable absorbent pad is provided. The re-usable diapering system consists of a non-absorbent outer liquid impervious shell, as in a standard disposable diaper but without an integral central absorbent layer which is exposed to liquids in the crotch area. A separate disposable absorbent pad is provided in the central crotch area of the disposable diaper which is not sandwiched in the shell. The central area of the shell is stiffened to facilitate manufacture and handling by the user.
