摘要： In an inter-labia pad comprising an absorbing body for absorbing bodily fluid and a cover material for covering the absorbing body, the cover material has a human body-side face that faces the labia of a wearer and an absorbing body-side face that faces the absorbing body. The absorbing body includes a labia-following layer and a bodily liquid-storing layer. The labia-following layer, together with the cover material, deforms in accordance with the shape of the wearer’s labia, and the bodily liquid storing-layer is in contact with the labia-following layer so that bodily liquid can move from the labia-following layer to the liquid-storing layer. The pad can be reliably fit to subtle shapes of the wearer’s urethral opening, private parts, etc.; therefore the pad provides excellent appearance, and prevents bodily liquid from leaking without giving the wearer sense of discomfort.

摘要： This invention relates to a sanitary product (1) for use by women for the absorption of menstrual fluid and such like. The product (1) comprises a plug (2) and a pad (3) joined by a sheath (4). The plug (2) is substantially cylindrical so that is fits comfortably in a vaginal cavity. The pad (3) remains outside the vaginal cavity, but has an absorbent layer on an inward side (10) proximal to the plug (2) and a liquid impermeable layer on an outward side (11). In use, a wearer can insert a finger into the sheath (4) from the outward side (11) of the pad (3) assist with insertion of the plug (2) into the vaginal cavity. A string (12) is provided that extends inside the sheath (4) from the outward end of the plug (2) to aid removal of the product (1). A line of weakness (7) extends along the major axis of the pad (3), about which the pad (3) is disposed to fold in use. This encourages the pad (3) to fold around the plug (2) to accommodate the plug (2) during removal of the product (1) , thus improving hygiene.

摘要： An absorbent interlabial device worn by female wearers for catamenial purposes, incontinence protection, or both, is disclosed. The absorbent interlabial device of the present invention includes a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, and an absorbent core positioned between the two. The length of the device is between about 60 mm and about 130 mm. The width is between about 25 mm and 50 mm. The device has an axis of preferred bending along its longitudinal centerline. When folded along the axis and inserted into the wearer's interlabial space, the topsheet maintains contact with the walls of the wearer's labia. A method of using a system of feminine hygiene products is also disclosed. The system includes the use of an absorbent interlabial device in combination with a sanitary napkin. The absorbent interlabial device of the present invention may also be used in combination with an absorbent tampon. The absorbent interlabial device may be packaged in a common package with a sanitary napkin or a tampon as a feminine hygiene kit.
