摘要： A process cartridge (B) has an image bearing member (9), a developing bias contact disposed at one longitudinal end of a developing means (10) near the image bearing member for applying the developing bias to the developing means, an earthing contact (18a) disposed at the same longitudinal end of the developing means remote from the image bearing member for earthing the image bearing member, and a charging bias contact for applying the charging bias to a charger means. The process cartridge (B) is mounted within a compact image forming apparatus which can obtain an image with high quality. According to the present invention, there are provided a process cartridge (B) and an image forming apparatus mountable such process cartridge therein, which can improve the reliability of the contactness of the contacts and can be made small-sized.

摘要： The present invention provides blade members (12e;13a) comprising an elastic blade, and a support member (S) for supporting the elastic blade and having a supporting portion for supporting the elastic blade, a protruded portion protruding from the supporting portion in a longitudinal direction thereof, and a hole formed in the protruded portion, and wherein a length of the protruded portion in the longitudinal direction is more than 5 mm and less than 20 mm. There is additionally disclosed a mounting methode for the blade into a processing cartridge, and a blade support design to facilitate the mounting action. There is as well disclosed a design of a cleaning blade and a design for a recyclable processing cartridge.

摘要： The present invention provides an image forming system for forming an image on a recording medium and adapted to mount a process cartridge therewithin, comprising, a supporting means for supporting a toner carrying member for supplying toner to an image bearing member in order to mount a process cartridge having the image bearing member and the toner carrying member, and a feeding means for feeding a recording medium. With above construction it is possible to provide an image forming system which can improve the image quality and which can be made small-sized and light-weighted.
