摘要： The present invention discloses a method and system for implementing the inter-access of stack members. Wherein, the method includes: a stack control module assigning stack device numbers and fixed IP addresses for stack members; after a user logs on a stack member, performing a session command for accessing a destination stack member, and initiating an access request to the destination stack member based on the stack device number of the destination stack member; the stack member on which the user logs obtaining the IP address of the destination stack member based on the stack device number in the session command, and forwarding the access request to the destination stack member in the TELNET manner based on the IP address of the destination stack member; after receiving the access request, the destination stack member, as a TELNET server end, assigning a terminal number for the stack member on which the user logs, and informing an operation and maintenance management module of the destination stack member; the operation and maintenance management module sending operation echo information of the destination stack member back to the stack member on which the user logs.

A router cluster with the above switching chassis includes switching chassis and line processing chassis interconnected via optical fibers, where: any optical interface of any line processing chassis is connected to one cascade interface of any cascade unit; and any cascade interface of any cascade unit is connected to one switching port of any switching unit. With the present invention, the capacity of a router cluster can be expanded without the need to replace any component of the router cluster so that the expansion cost is lower.

摘要： The invention distributes the adjacent-router link interfaces of a network node (100) among several logical routers (120) and provides a node-internal interface (130) between at least two of the logical routers. Each logical router (120) is generally assigned a dedicated subset of the adjacent-router link interfaces of the network node (100). Thereby, the number of adjacencies related to each logical router is reduced, leading to a reduction in the load on the corresponding routing protocol process (122) of each logical router. The routing protocol processes are preferably executed on seperate processors (123), one for each logical router. This network node implementation is directly scalable by selecting the number of logical routers (120) and properly dividing the adjacencies of the network node among the logical routers. Advantageoulsy, the node-internal interface (130) is implemented as a highly efficient logical interface by switching between the routing table of the involved efficient logical interface by switchinà between the routing tables of the involved logical routers (120). This gives the node-internal interface an unlimited bandwidth.
