摘要： CT imaging systems and methods thereof are disclosed. A common CT scanning is performed (S41) on an object to obtain a common CT imaging. An area of interest is determined (S43) from the image. A CT scanning is performed (S44) on the area of interest under a plurality of energy windows by a photon counter detector. A high resolution image of the area of interest is reconstructed (S46). The discrimination of energy spectrum is higher and the result so obtained is more stable by using a photon counter detector to collect photon count projection data of a plurality of energy windows and thus it may be decomposed into a plurality of basis functions.

摘要： Disclosed is a CT imaging method and system. The method includes: CT scanning an object with a dual-energy CT system to obtain a first complete set of projection data in a first scan mode, and to obtain a second incomplete set of projection data in a second scan mode; reconstructing a first attenuation coefficient image of the object from the first set of projection data, and extracting, from the first attenuation coefficient image, prior structure information of the object indicating edge intensity; and reconstructing a second attenuation coefficient image of the object from the second incomplete set of projection data using the extracted prior structure information as a constraint. With the method using the prior structure information of the imaged object as a constraint in reconstruction, it is possible to dramatically reduce an amount of data required for reconstruction, and achieve satisfactory effects even with ill-conditioned problems of limited-angle and inner reconstruction.

摘要： An imaging system includes a radiation source (310) configured to rotate around an examination region about a z-axis and having a focal spot that emits a radiation beam that traverses the examination region. The system further includes a radiation sensitive detector array (314) with a plurality of detector pixels that detects radiation traversing the examination region and generates projection data indicative of the detected radiation. The system further includes a dynamic post-patient filter (316) including one or more filter segments (402, 802, 902, 1004, 1102). The filter is configured to selectively and dynamically move in front of the detector array between the detector array and the examination region and into and out of a path of the radiation beam illuminating the detector pixels during scanning an object or subject based on a shape of the object or subject, thereby filtering unattenuated radiation and radiation traversing a periphery of the object or subject.

摘要： A method of generating an image by using multi-energy radiation data and an apparatus therefore is provided. The method includes receiving multi-energy radiation data including a plurality of pieces of radiation data indicating an inner portion of a subject with respect to a plurality of radioactive rays in different energy bands, respectively, generating, based on the received multi-energy radiation data, radiation data of a radioactive ray in an energy band that is different from the different energy bands, and generating a radiation image of the subject based on the generated radiation data.
The method can be applied to the medical imaging system of Fig. 1 .
