摘要： The invention relates to a snap-action closure (10) suitable for a thin-walled cabinet (12) such as a sheet metal cabinet, in particular for drawers (14), inserts, doors or similar which can be pushed or swiveled into a sheet-metal cabinet (12). Said snap-action closure (10) comprises a housing (18) which can be mounted in an aperture in the sheet metal of the cabinet. One side (the external face, 20) of the housing (18) has a handle (22) and a closure-actuating means while a closing hook (26) extends from the other side (internal face, 24) thereof so as to be pivotable counter to a spring force (28). Said closing hook (26) is connected to the actuating means (22) via a freewheeling coupling, the actuating means (22) being formed by the handle (22), which is mounted in the housing (18) so as to be pivotable about a pin (30) that runs parallel to or is coaxial with the axis of the closing hook (26).

The lock device consists of a substantially cylindrical housing (31) with an enlarged end piece which enlarged end piece forms a seat (39) shaped in a complementary manner to the underside of a handle (35), which handle (35) operates a shaft (33) provided in the housing, which shaft (33) is movable in its longitudinal direction and can rotate in the housing (31). On the shaft (33) there are mounted one or more raised lugs (40) which are adapted to similarly shaped openings in a bolt (34) which is rotatably mounted on the shaft (33) where the lugs (40) can engage with the openings in the bolt (34) when the handle (35) is pulled up from the seat (39) and when the handle (35) is in the correct position relative to the openings in the bolt (34) in order thereby to be able to rotate the bolt (34) via the shaft (33) with the handle (35).
