    • [Object] To provide a one-way valve and a door check apparatus which is compact and includes a small number of components.
      [Means for Resolution] A one-way valve having a conduit for allowing liquid to flow therein, a valve element 21 provided in the conduit, a hole portion 7a provided in the conduit on the upstream side of the valve element 21 and configured to be brought into a closed state by being closed by the valve element, and a spring (urging means) 29 that urges the valve element 21 in the direction to close the hole portion 7a, in which the peripheral surface of the valve element 21 is formed with a first surface 21d and a second surface 21e intersecting the direction of movement of the valve element and generating a component force in the direction to close the hole portion 7a when an urging force of the spring 29 is applied, the first surface 21d and the second surface 21e are formed so as to increase the component force in the direction to close the hole portion 7a as the valve element 21 approaches the hole portion 7a, and the spring 29 constantly presses the first surface 21d and the second surface 21e from the direction intersecting the direction of movement of the valve element and constantly applies an urging force to the valve element 21 in the direction to close the hole portion 7a.
