摘要： Provided are a wet electrostatic precipitator having improved SO 3 and dust removal performance, and a flue gas treatment method. The wet electrostatic precipitator includes an electric field forming unit (11) including a first electrode (20) and a second electrode (21) which form an alternating electric field. The first electrode (20) is a flat plate, and has a plurality of discharge electrodes (23) on a surface that opposes the second electrode (21). The second electrode (21) includes a discharge frame (24), a first flat plate portion (25a), and a second flat plate portion (25b). The first flat plate portion (25a) is provided at a position that opposes the discharge electrode (23) of the first electrode (20). A plurality of discharge electrodes (23) are formed on a surface of the second flat plate portion (25b) that opposes the first electrode (20). The discharge electrodes (23) alternately generate corona discharges having opposite polarities in a direction perpendicular to a flow direction of gas, and alternately apply charges having opposite polarities to mist and dust. The first electrode (20) and the first flat plate portion (25a) trap the charged mist and the dust.

摘要： The neutron irradiation apparatus 100 includes an introduction tube 1 for introducing a proton beam, a target structure 2 provided in a lower end of the introduction tube 1, an aluminum fluoride layer 3 disposed below the target structure 2 in an irradiation path of neutrons generated in the target structure 2, and a heavy water layer 4 placed under the aluminum fluoride layer 3 in layers. The aluminum fluoride layer 3 is set at a thickness that increases epithermal neutrons. Since use of only the aluminum fluoride layer 3 increases its thickness too much, heavy water is placed. Heavy water moderates neutrons quickly, and allows increasing epithermal neutrons without increasing the thickness. The combination of the aluminum fluoride layer 3 and the heavy water layer 4 allows increasing epithermal neutrons by attenuating only fast neutrons without increasing thermal neutrons. Accordingly, neutron flux with many epithermal neutrons is obtained.

摘要： Provided are a water treatment system and a water treatment method with which salt-containing water can be recycled with a high water re-covery rate. In this water treatment system (300) and water treatment method, a scale inhibitor is supplied to water to be treated including Ca ions, SO 4 ions, carbonate ions, and silica, and the water to be treated is adjusted to a pH capable of dissolving silica. Having had a calcium-scale inhibitor added thereto and the pH thereof adjusted, the water to be treated is separated by a first desalination unit (10) into treated water, and concentrated water in which the Ca ions, SO 4 ions, carbonate ions, and silica are concentrated. In a first crystallization unit (20), gypsum seed crystals are supplied to first concentrated water, and gypsum crystallizes and is removed from the first concentrated water. The silica in the water to be treated is removed from the first concentrated water at a downstream side of the first crystallization unit (20) with respect to the water to be treated. Calcium carbonate in the water to be treated is removed from the first concentrated water at an upstream side of the first desalination unit (10), or at a downstream side of the first crystallization unit (20).

Two mounting frames (5) are connected to each other on the downstream side of the gas flow, and are arranged so that, between the two mounting frames (5), the upstream side of the gas flow is wider than the downstream side of the gas flow.
