摘要： A wheel speed measurement system for a drive axle is provided within a differential assembly. The system includes a differential side bearing adjustment ring (96) configured for adjusting the position of a differential carrier bearing assembly (98). A tone ring (82) is provided having an inner bore to accommodate a coaxial axle shaft. A retainer ring member (94) is snap-fit between the differential side bearing adjustment ring (96) and the tone ring (82), permitting relative rotation of the tone ring (82). Sensors (76) are provided in sensor mounts integrally formed on an exterior of a differential assembly housing (32).

The outer rotor is in driving meshed engagement with the ring gear. The pump provides pressurized fluid to one of first and second fluid ports. A flow restrictor is moveable to selectively restrict fluid flow relative to one of the first and second ports.

摘要： An electric wheel motor assembly generally includes a planetary gear set having a sun gear, a ring gear and a planet carrier that rotateably supports a plurality of planet gears. A portion of a wheel spindle includes the ring gear that is maintained in a non rotating condition. A first wheel bearing and a second wheel bearing rotatably support the planet carrier on the wheel spindle. The first wheel bearing defines a first plane that extends radially therefrom and the second wheel bearing defines a second plane that extends radially therefrom. An electric motor has a stator and a rotor. A portion of the rotor includes the sun gear. The sun gear has a plurality of gear teeth that engages with the planet gears. The plurality of gear teeth on the sun gear is disposed between the first plane and the second plane.

摘要： A suspension module that includes a suspension component, a pair of wheel hubs coupled to the suspension component, and an auxiliary drive system. The auxiliary drive system has a pair of drive units, each of which being configured to selectively provide drive torque to an associated one of the wheel hubs. Each drive unit includes an electric motor, a first reduction gear set and a clutch. The first reduction gear set is disposed between the motor and its wheel hub and multiplies torque output from the motor. The clutch is configured to selectively disconnect the motor from the associated wheel hub so that an output shaft of the motor is not drivingly coupled to the associated wheel hub when a rotational speed of the first portion does not exceed a rotational speed of the second portion.
