摘要： A beaker (1) is described which is made from a paper material, has a fillable interior and is formed by a conical cover (2) and a base (3). At the lower end of the interior, the base is fastened to the cover in a substantially fluidtight manner by way of a chime (4). The cover and/or the base in the region of the chime and/or the chime itself have/has an outwardly protruding widened portion (10) at least in one region along the circumference. A lower edge (14) of the widened portion forms a standing face for the beaker. The widened portion can form a means for holding another beaker of the same type, which means can interact with a beaker of the same type when the beaker is stacked. The beaker can have a heat-insulating outer cover.

摘要： A device for producing a package from a sheet of flexible material. This device comprises basically a male part (18) and a female part (11-17), which are intended to cooperate with each other, so as to produce the actual shape of the body of the package. The female part basically comprises a recessed region (12) which is fastened to means for translation along a first direction. The two free edges (14) of the recessed region house suckers (13) intended to take the sheet of flexible material placed thereat. Two jaws (15) are hinged along the edges (14) and can be actuated by means of cylinder actuators (16) in such a way as to define, in relation with the recessed region, the external envelope of the body of the package to be produced when said jaws are closed up. The male part consists of a sleeve or mandrel (18) complementary in shape to the internal shape of the female part and capable of undergoing a translational movement in a direction perpendicular to said first direction, so as to be positioned level with the female part and to cooperate with the latter. The device further comprises a member (31) for fastening together the two edges of the sheet of flexible material after shaping, that is to say after cooperation of the male part with the female part.

A flat end disk (18) is held in a transfer pocket (26) and moved by a disk punch (28) through a die opening (36,38) smaller in diameter than the disk. The die (32,34) bends the peripheral portion of the disk into a skirt (48). The disk punch (28) inserts the disk into the open end (16) of a cartridge body (10) and against a mandrel (42) positioned so that an end portion of the cartridge body extends beyond the skirt. Heat is applied to melt thermoplastic coatings (14,20) on the disk and cartridge body. A crimping device (62,64) crimps the end portion of the cartridge into a flange (68) which is bent against the disk and folds the skirt to form a lip (70) doubled over on the peripheral area of the disk. Thermoplastic coatings bond to weld the flange to the disk with the lip enclosed between them.
