摘要： A cart is provided for mounting a portable ultrasonic diagnostic device, the cart being small in size and having high operability, and the portable ultrasonic diagnostic device is opened and used in the state of being kept mounted on the cart. The cart has a top board 1 for placing the portable ultrasonic diagnostic device thereon, a support column 2 for supporting the top board in such a manner as movable up and down, multiple legs 3 for supporting the support column, wheels 4 respectively attached to the legs, and a unit 5 having a predetermined function. The unit 5 is placed below the top board 1 in the rear of the support column 2, and the center of gravity of the cart is positioned in the rear of the center of the support column 2. This cart has a simple configuration enabling downsizing, and it is high in operability. It is possible to open and use the portable ultrasonic diagnostic device in the state that the portable ultrasonic diagnostic device is kept mounted on the cart.

摘要： An ultrasonic diagnosis device wherein a movable mechanism for supporting an operation panel is configured so that the degree of freedom in the position and attitude thereof is increased. Specifically, a movable section comprises the operation panel, a base, an arm mechanism, and a display unit. The movable mechanism has a lifting mechanism and a horizontal movement mechanism. The horizontal movement mechanism has a layered structure. The layered structure has, stacked from bottom to top, a left-right slide mechanism, a forward-backward slide mechanism, a rotation mechanism, and a rotation limitation mechanism. The rotation limitation mechanism changes a rotation range according to a sliding position in the forward-backward direction.

摘要： A pre-memory (14) stores a plurality of sets of tomographic image data in a time-series order. A virtual period setting unit (22) calculates a virtual period relating to an object based on the tomographic image data stored in the pre-memory (14). A base image searching unit (24) searches for base images from the tomographic image data using the virtual period. A division basis setting unit (26) sets division bases according to the base images within an image string constituted of tomographic image data. A reconfiguration processing unit (20) uses the respective base images as boundaries for the division to divide the tomographic image data stored in the pre-memory (14) into a plurality of image groups. Then, data blocks of tomographic images which correspond to one another on a periodic basis are sequentially extracted from the respective image groups, and are stored in a post-memory (28).

摘要： When an amount of visceral fat is measured using ultrasonic waves during medical examination of metabolic syndrome, three contact positions are defined on the surface of the abdominal region, and three distances inside the living body are measured by bringing a probe into contact with the surface of the abdominal region at the contact positions. Specifically, three measurement paths having a starting point at the center of the descending aorta are set, and the distances from the center to a surface of the fat layer adj acent to the surface of the body (inner surface of the subcutaneous layer) in the measurement paths are observed. An approximate area of a visceral fat region (20) can be determined from the three distances and two angles defined by the three measurement paths, and an index value is calculated on the basis of the area. A probe holder is desirably used during the above-described measurement. The probe holder includes three holding portions that selectively hold the probe.

摘要： There is provided an ultrasonic probe for supporting spine surgery which can execute both inspection by tactile sense and inspection by ultrasound diagnosis. A front-end component is provided at a front end of an insertion unit. The front-end component comprises a metal component and a resin component, and the metal component comprises a tactile member and an anchor. The resin component comprises a cap portion and a surrounding portion. An insertion portion in the front-end component is inserted into a front end portion of a pipe. The anchor and the front end portion are in close proximity with a certain distance therebetween, such that insulation is secured and vibration transmitted from a head can be transmitted from the anchor to the pipe in a superior manner.

A sign data array formed of a plurality of sign data items arranged in an element arranging direction is extracted from a plurality of element reception signals having been subjected to delay processing but having not been subjected to summing processing. A factor computing unit computes a first factor indicating a level of sign coherence in the sign data array and a second factor indicating a sign transit density in the sign data array. The factor computing unit then computes a factor (evaluation value) for adjusting gain of the reception signal, based on the first factor and the second factor.
